Carebears

Wuching's post on boy's toys (although he calls them figurines but a toy is a toy la....)
had brought me to think about toys during my childhood.

Although I must say that i grew up a happy kid being the only girl, I pretty much have what I wanted most of the time like them Barbie dolls and Ken......masak masak set....kitchenette set....sewing machine...fancy iron....ya know all those girlie toys....

However, there is 1 thing that I've always wanted during my childhood that has yet to materialize......that is...........to own a Carebear. Yup......a Carebear!

I'm glad that I grew up with cartoons the likes of Carebears and My little Pony........ the values and morales that have instilled in me is priceless. Kids these days grow up with funny cartoons like Pinky and the Brain......south Park and what not nonsense.....To me, carebear was my ultimate favourite cartoon and everytime I watch an episode I feel good inside.

Carebears are wonderful. There are many types of carebears like Tender-heart bear, Cheer Bear, Wish Bear, Laugh-A-lot Bear....etc.... Each and every bear has its own character and values. I think my favourite must be Cheer Bear and Wish Bear. I love The rainbow in Cheer Bear and I love that Wish Bear can somehow magically wish something to come true.....

I googled and here are some interesting information about them and coincidentally..........the 2 are best of friends!!! 2 of my favourites!!

Cheer Bear is a very happy Care Bear who helps others see the bright side of life. She will sometimes even do a cheer to help make someone happier. Wherever she goes, Cheer Bear wears a symbol of hope and happiness—a rainbow.
Caring Mission: Cheers people up.
Symbol: Her rainbow symbol represents hope.
Personality: Happy and upbeat.
Character Quirk: Sometimes communicates through rhyming cheers.
Color: Pink.
Best Friend: Wish Bear
Relationship Challenge: Grumpy Bear - she's always trying to cheer him up!
Motto: When in doubt, SMILE!

Do you have a wish? Then Wish Bear is the bear you should wish for. She knows that sometimes wishes come true, and that even when they don't, making wishes can be a lot of fun. She shows this with her tummy symbol—a smiling wishing star.
Caring Mission: Helps wishes come true.
Symbol: Wish Bear's shooting star with a rainbow tail reminds us to believe in our dreams.
Personality: Quiet and shy.
Character Quirk: Can sometimes "magically" make the wishes come true—but not always, and sometimes the wishes come true in funny ways.
Color: Aqua.
Best Friend: Cheer Bear
Relationship Challenge: Sometimes Good Luck Bear teases her into arguments about who is luckier.
Motto: Your wish is my wish!

Soooooooo Cute isn't it?!!!
I really must get myself a carebear...........anyone know where I can find them in Malaysia???

Visit this site for more interesting information about all the carebears available!!

Less than 100 days

Reality Checkpoint

After reading laksa's post makes me realize that its less than 100 days to go till we reach the end of 2006. 2007 is not too far off. Boy time sure flies huh....and it seems like the day is getting shorter by the years.....as if its been affected by the inflation. I do hope that by the end of this year, I'd be able to look back and nod my head with a sense of achievement which I think i'm seriously lacking. I don't see any significant achievement apart from 1 that I manage to achieve for the year which left me slightly purturbed. I must step it up.

I would probably be posting lesser for the next couple of months and also read lesser blogs and post lesser comments too. This is due to my being posted to another location in which I foresee lesser freedom in internet access and a more strict atmostphere. So mostly I'd only be able to blog at night or during the weekends.
Dont miss me!! But if you'd like me to reply your comments, just include your email and I'd be able to reply via gmail.

PS. oh and my MIL seems to be brewing herbal tea quite often lately.....and I've been forced to bring a bottle to work... :P blearggghh.......no sugar........so bitter....
I feel like a small schoolgirl...... hehe.....dang.....2 more hours ....n i still have half a bottle to go

Lunch: 1 slice of cheese sandwich
Tea: too hungry by 3pm so bought some cucur udang. hehe
Dinner: Rice + sotong + vege

Day 18

BF: none
Branch: 2 rolls of pohpiah
Lunch: none
Dinner: I cooked Thai Green Curry prawns, Honey glazed pork ribs, stir friend brocolli & mushrooms

Day 19:
BF: 3 slice of biscuits
Lunch: none
Tea: 3 slice of biscuits
Dinner: (Same as yesterday, except the honey glazed pork ribs have turned into stew pork by placing them into the slowcooker)

Hmm..........so at Day 20, I have mix feelings.
Well, because I havent weighted myself so i'm not sure how i'm doing.
However, i feel much better, i think i look better too because my clothes are no-longer so tight.
But, I visited mom recently and she said I put on weight. :P boohoo

Well, lets give it another 10 days to see how's progress on Day 30.

I realized that my intake consist of ALOT of bread!! hehe....I love bread so I guess that contributes to alot of carbo. But the thing is, I'm don't mind the carb because i need the energy to keep me going for my day to day work. Anyway, will try to reduce my intake of bread and replace with something else.

Secondly, I think that I drink ALOT of water and that my weight and my buldges could be due to water retention.
I really need to flush out the fluids I wonder how can I achieve that.

Thirdly, we went to the curve the other day and the hubby seems to be interested in 1 of this home gym set thingy that costs about 8k! whoaa.....I secretly hope he will buy it so that I can also benefit from some work-out. hehehe....

Of Confidence

I realize that, I've been over confident
On myself and not you...
I should and I know I'm supposed to
Lay all my dreams aside and place all my trust in you
Even when times seems so difficult
Even when things are happening around me that I could not fathom
Even when your promises seems surreal
I look to you
Break my self confidence
Break it into a million pieces
Break it that I may never glue them back
Keep the centre piece
So that I may look to you
When I need to find my confidence again ...

Its been a week since the Interview.....and there is no callback.
I guess.....I'll just have to resign to the fact that I'm Top8 but not quite No.1

Estee Lauder Idealist Micro-D, Best Scrub Ever!

I have a sample size Micro-D that I totally forgotten about! Well, i'm definately under-scrub if there is such a word. I normally remembers to wash, tone & moistorize but forgot the once a week scrub! I just remembered awhile ago so i reached out for my Micro-D and wow...can't help touching my own face over and over....its sooooooooo smoooooothh!!! I really love the Idealist Micro-D.

The reason that we need to scrub our face about once a week is so that we can remove the dull and dead skin cells, stimulate regeneration of new skin and remove oil and toxins.
Especially for those with blackheads/whiteheads....its a good practice to scrub regularly. But please! Scrub is NOT to be done on a daily basis...although there are some products outthere that claims it is safe for daily use....please dont. Having tiny beads scratching your face on a daily basis will NOT "sandpaper" your skin to be smoother, you are not a piece of wood remember that.

Idealist Micro-D is called a Refinisher by Estee Lauder......Under the "Idealist" product line, its supposedly to refine the skin making it smoother and minimize pores.
I'll quote estee Lauder.au website for further explaination:
"Idealist Micro-D Deep Thermal Refinisher, an at-home alternative to micro-dermabrasion. It warms skins to help open, de-toxify and minimize pores while a TripleSphere Refinishing System™ delivers dramatic skin resurfacing benefits. Use it in combination with Idealist and skin’s smoothness and even tone are significantly enhanced." -unQuote

I like that it is Thermal, meaning it heats up while you scrub. I just squeeze approx 10sen (RM) coin size into my palm, lather it with little bit of water and you'll feel them heating up. Then in circular motion, scrub through from the bottom(chin) and work the circular motion upwards. Do a little massage about 1-2 minutes. Rinse well with water. You will immediately feel that your skin is as smooth as a baby's bottom! Seriooooooous. I really can't help touching my face over and over as if it isnt mine. :) I must remember to scrub more often.
I'm topping up with my Idealist later before I go to sleep.

Crabtree & Evelyn

I've only started using Body lotion when I crossed mid twenties. I've never had problem skin, i must say that I'm quite happy with the condition of my overall skin as it is moist enough to stay smooth throughout the day.
However i've recently started buying more and more lotions....not that i need it that much, but i've just developed a new interest in lotions. Especially hydrating lotions.

Crabetree & Evelyn is one of those that i've tried this year.

I know.........the first thing that comes to mind when this brand is mentioned would be DAMN EXPENSIVE LAH!!!!!
yes??
Ya, couldnt agree more. I think the price is a little steep and I wish it could be lower.

I bought a travelling kit of the Aloe Vera range of 50ml bottles. It comes in a tiny cute pouch with 4 tiny travelling size bottle of :
  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Body wash

  • Body lotion

I must say that I love the body lotion the most. The scent is very refreshing, the lotion is for hydrating purposes and best of all it is water-base and non-sticky.

Those of you who like to try out Crabtree & Evelyn products, this month is a good month to try them as I was told by the counter lady at the Sogo branch that they are currently having a promotion where if you purchase up to RM300, you'll get RM100 rebate. I think that's a pretty attractive offer.

I don't think so it is difficult at all to spend up to RM300 when my tiny travelling kit already costs RM55.
:)

Investigations on SK II

frm TodayOnline

I really hate to say "I TOLD YOU SO" to SKII users. oh well.....i guess let this be a learning experience ya?
I never ever used SKII before as I've always been skeptical over its products. I have many friends who've used SKII before and told me many scary stories. 1 person told me that her skin started thinning after using SKII and it became painful and sensitive. Took her 2 years to recover and that 2 years she couldnt use any products on her face AT ALL!! No make-up and Not even any face-care products except for the ones prescribed by the doctor. Poor thing!
Some people told me that after using SKII you must keep on continue using it as if you stop, your skin totally worstens. And i've heard the same story from many sources too and not solely 1 person.

Now this happens.....and makes me wonder what actually is this PITERA Sammy Cheng raves about during commercials.

So those SKII users be careful altough P&G Malaysia haven't informed the consumers if the SKII Malaysia contains the banned substance as of those found in China.

Sigh, makes me doubt my Estee Lauder for a nano-second there. But in any case, I still love Estee lauder (untill & unless proven otherwise). Perhaps its time for SKII users to switch brand. I recommend Estee Lauder ok. Actually some doctors actually recommend the use of estee Lauder skin care too... :> Think Sizzling Elizabeth Hurley ok.....plus Estee Lauder founded and supports Breast Cancer Research centres, so its all for a good cause.

At times like this when banned substance are found in our daily products....even in our daily expensive bread......sigh.....makes me wonder what other potential harm i'm putting my body to on a daily basis??

Sultanas Vs. Raisins

Quote of the day:
"I long for the day when the thoughest decision i had to make for the day is "What shall I have for dinner??"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Day 13:
BF: None
Lunch: honey glazed pork-rib rice. Yum!! Couldn't finish the rice though
Tea: 1 cup of mushroom soup + 2 slice of crackers
Late Dinner: Vege+ fish + little bit rice oni
Day 14:
BF: small piece of bread
Lunch: small plate of wan tan mee
Dinner:Rice + crabs +soup
Tea: munch on some Australian Sultanas.
My hubby is an absolute raisin fan and so we bought quite alot of them from our recent visit to Coles at Chadstone last month.
But one thing that i couldnt identify the difference is between sultanas & raisins.
Can someone tell me whats the difference between Sultanas & Raisins please?
We bought some from Sunbeam and some from Farmland. I like the Farmland Sultanas....but frankly they taste like raisins to me.
(these are sunbeam sultanas, cant find Farmland ones but its similar but in yellow packaging)
And what I like most about Farmland Sultanas is that they have this statement on the box:
"satisfaction guaranteed or your money CHEERFULLY refunded."
THATS what I call confidence! and i like it.
PS. I've included Raisins and Prunes as my dietary munching food. :)
Surviving Day 15 without Lays Stax! WOW! hehe
ZA Concealer Perfection & Etthusais Base Care Concealer
1 of my readers ask me if there is any way to reduce those dark circles or what i call the "panda eyes" syndrome.
Well....1 advice.
GET SOME SLEEP!!!!
hehe....of course its not that easy to rid of it lah apart from having enough rest, you can also follow some regime like doing regular face-mask; do the cucumber thingy or buy some products for it.
Frankly i've never had that problem....perhaps once awhile but not very prominent. The only product that I've tried is from Estee Lauder called Uncircle. Perhaps you may want to try that.
However, concealers are pretty handy in hiding those unsightly dark-circles.
I've recently bought the ZA concealer perfection.
I'm not exactly a ZA fan, but I tried this on and its a pretty good deal to replace my almost-running-out Etthusais Base Care Concealer
Medicated Concealer
A spot concealer that conceals and corrects acne and acne scars. Price: S$35
The ZA concealer only cost RM29.90 as oppose to the Etthusais which costs about RM60 the last time i bought it couple years ago.
Concealers are usefull for couple of reasons:
  • Pre-makeup: Use them before you apply your foundation to cover up all the un-even skin tones like pimples, ache scars, dark circles...etc.
  • Post-makeup: Bring them along everywhere you go since its such a small tube, you can dab them on when the effects of your foundation starts thinning and the scars/pimples are showing. Perfect for cover-up and touch-ups.
I really do feel that concealers are understated, do try some of the products available like the loreal touche magique that I wrote before, also there is this concealer stick from TheBodyShop at a very affordable price of below RM20.
Check them out especially for pimple-face teenagers with low self esteem.....concealers are God sent!
Hope this helps!
How to make a cup of nescafe?
My eyelids are heavy.....really heavy...
don't know why because I slept early yesterday......well 1.30am is early to me anyway
I can't concentrate on my budget planning excel spreadsheet as my eyes are going into hibernate mode soon....
I think i'm gonna make myself a mug of nescafe.
Speaking of which, I'd really like to create this post as a handy guide to those princesses out there who can't make a cup of drinkable nescafe. *rolls eyes*
You see, sometime ago we hired a freshgrad as our trainee. She was a typical princess.....don't know anything domestic kinda princess. We were having some guests over for a product training session and as usual we need to make some coffee. Usually we'll get the receptionist to do that but at times, i don't mind making coffee and just volunteerily do it. However since I had this new girl and she doesnt have much work to do, I told her to make coffee for the guests.
BIG MISTAKE!!!! gosh!! Ms.Princess totally stirred up a whirlwind in the pantry!!! She tried to make the coffee....ended up TOO BITTER untill can choke so it was a failure but luckily she got 1 of our other colleague to test first!! haah.....poor fella....then slowly almost half the office ppl were in the pantry helping her MAKE COFFEE!? Can u immagine that?!! Aiyooooh....if the boss find out about this my head is gonna be on the chopping board man. So highly unproductive to get all the professionals make coffee right?! haha...
Then I pulled out the ultimate damange control mechanism...... 3-in-1 Nescafe!!! kekeke...shove a couple of packets to her and said...use this. *phewww...wipe sweat frm forehead*
Ya see, some people REALLY don't know how to make a decent cup of coffee loh.....and This wasn't the first time i've experience something like that. There was once we had a Boy intern many years ago that one..... And he came over to my cubicle and asked me....."Fashionasia, how to make coffee ah?" "Why is my coffee so bitter?"
I can't remember what I did but i think I helped him with that too.
Actually making nescafe is very easy only. Nothing fancy, but the only thing is that one must know that making a cup of nescafe and making a cup of milo is totally different!!! The proportions is different. I realized that their coffee taste extremely bitter because they're used to making milo and they thought that it is the same with coffee and scoop a huge spoonful of coffee or two....which is....very-the-yikes!!!
I normally make mine with the agak-agak method but I like the full-proof way which is the 1-2-3 method.
1-2-3?? Yup......1-2-3
Just remember the sequence
1 teaspoon of nescafe
2 teaspoon of sugar
3 teaspoon of coffeemate(or whatever brand of creamer)
Easy right?? Thats how you make a cup of nescafe. Just follow the proportions like that. If your cup is bigger, adjust accordingly. Hope this helps the prince&princesses out there! If all else fails, buy 3-in-1 instant pack. Very cheap oni....
Day 7 , Day 8 and Day 9
Day 7 : LAU SAI day
Till today there is no weight reduction despite not eating much.....and all the lau sai-ing .........or am my definition of "not much" needs some tweaking?? haha.....Well, at least the weight is stagnant...... Really dont know why izzit soooo difficult to loose the desired weight....i mean i already cut down the portions....refrain from eating my favourite junk food like LAYS potato chips....ice cream...etc
Big Mouth
I've noticed that the only cosmetic item that is a hit in the western countries that will never (have yet to) make it in Asian countries are the pucker plummer lippy's. You know how the people in the west think that thick, pouty lips are sexy?! Of course I think they're just obssessed with Angelina Jolie or Pamela Anderson.......
Lip plumper are really a big hit among celebrities and plum-em-up lip balms are selling like hot cakes. If you head over to the well-known beauty company like Sephora, you will definately see lip plumpers there be it lipsticks, lip gloss or lip balms. Of course cosmetic surgery or injections are also extremely popular.
eg. Lip Venom by DuWop
(the name lip "Venom" itself already makes my lips feel painful....)
This one is from philosophy and it kinda makes me chuckle...the name is called Big Mouth!! haha......self explainatory isn't it?
However, it is different over here in the asian continent. I guess it is due to the fact that our epitome of beauty are a little different....
"beautiful" was and have always been judged base on these 3 criteria.
  • Big eyes
  • Sharp(high) nose
  • Small lips (especially among the chinese and japanese as well)
And so I guess thats a good thing and I hope the trend doesnt blow this way......... I sure wont like to have swollon bee stung lips on my pucker!!
I think I breezed through it
Dear lovely people
Thanks for the concern regarding my "lau sai" issue in my previous post..
haha....i must thank God because miraculously it just stopped about an hour before the Interview!! *Phewwww*
I guess by not eating lunch helps because by evening I have nothing left to "lau sai" lo.......I only kept on drinking alot of plain water.
Regarding the interview......i'm still keeping my fingers crossed....although I think i breezed through it.....it is still far to early to speculate....You know la MNC.....the process is long....there will be aptitude tests.....2nd interview...3rd interview....etc....etc......Much more agony to endure before emerging victorious i must say...
Just like the one i went through couple months ago......there was the initial interview....then the aptitude test i took which i thought was rather fun....i love IQ tests!! hehe...then there was the interview with the GM....then the HR interogation(tele-interview) and then came the final offer. Gosh so arduous. I dont fancy going through all this often...
oh and btw, its the Jusco members day sales.....and the crowd!! oh my gosh!!! I am sooooooo NOT going!!! Passed by 1U this morning around 9-ish and by-golly the cars from all direction heading to Jusco was crazily wild!!! and it wasnt even open yet!!! Scary people....and somemore its a working day.... eh you all noneed to work wan izzit??
Clinelle Moisture Glow
Couple of days ago, I realized that my Christian Dior Capture Day moisturizer is running out. I couldn't pump the bottle anymore.......
As I haven't decided which luxury moisturizer shall I go for to replace this one, i've decided to drop by the pharmacy and get myself a drugstore product. A not too cheap and not too expensive one.....and immediately I had the Clinelle in mind.
And so in less than 5 minutes, I settled for the Clinelle Moisture Glow. RM35.80
Innitially I thought that Clinelle is a US product but , judging from the website, it seems to be from Malaysia although they do claim that it is formulated in US.
Although I find that the price is slightly on the high-side for a drugstore item, but the Clinelle moisturizer is really quite good. I like the fact that it is...
Quote : "
  • Non-comedogenic, No Artificial Colouring
  • No Artificial Fragrance, No Lanolin, No Mineral Oil
  • No SD-Alcohol, 100% Natural Essential Oil "
After using it for a couple of days now.....I find that i'm liking it for its lightweight and non-greasy texture and very mild/no fragrance.
Double a Teenager
Sometimes I simply click the pings from PPS with interesting titles and ended up at some unknown blogs...
and some of these bloggers are really young people....
These kids like to put up their birthdate in the profiles and they are like born in the 90's or something.....like
Born in 1993!! yikes.... Just couldnt accept the fact that it IS their birth-year...
Then it struck me.....
damn....I FEEL SO OLD.
The teenagers now are BORN during the time when I WAS a teenager....... go figure...
and to think that I still feel (and sometimes bahave) like a teenager.....
....ahaks......kekekeke
Sharapova, Not just another pretty face!
Maria Sharapova (RUS)[3] defeated Justine Henin-Hardenne (BEL)[2] 6-4, 6-4 in the 2006 US Open Women's Singles Final.
I have no idea she is THAT tall!! 6 foot 2!!! oh wow!!
"She is the highest-earning female athlete in the world, with an estimated $20 million a year in endorsements alone. But she deflected the importance of all that, and the satisfaction of her success on court."
Lets talk a little about tennis fashion while we are at it.
Now tell me this isnt the prettiest little black dress.... I particularly like the sequinned neckline. I must admit that I love tennis......one of the reason is because tennis apparels are really fashionably trendy!! And its getting better by the day...
Did u see Bethenie Mattek in these??? looks really uncomfy...i doubt that those are tennis apparels....looks like something i can get frm the street market.....well, at least we getto see something different....
And......it so happen that i was looking at these from Adidas and I think that they are really pretty....makes me feel like getting some tennis wear.......
These are Stella McCartney's collection.......
Apart from the above, i saw this frm the sales section....
I like..........but kinda look like something I wore yesterday
I think this is a good idea....because everytime i want to eat anything sinful.....I'm reminded that I HAVE to post them here and definately going to be criticized so....its helping.....
Self control.....self control.....you can do it!
I'm Shortlisted
When I was a little dissappointed about my increament for the year about a month ago, I logged into my jobstreet account and started skimming through the jobs and applied for 1 position. Just 1!!!!
I didn't really think that I'd get a reply because it is a pretty damn big MNC everyone will know the name if i mention it here.
However I was pretty delighted to see my application being filed under "Under consideration" in green.
Today I received a call for interview next week. I checked the jobstreet account again and kinda suprised that I was among a total of 8 candidates "Under consideration" amongs 100 applicants...
I guess.....that makes me top 10 eh??? Notbad I'd say.......
But the thing is......my immediate boss have fought for my increament and I received a pretty good adjustment because of him.......
Anyhow, lets see how the interview goes...i may not get the job since its such a stiff competition. gulp....scary big ass company......gotta compete against 8 fellas....
I'm getting the butterflies just thinking about it.
Wish me luck!
If i get the job........hiakhiakhiak...*wipe hands in glee*...I always immagine myself throwing the resignation latter to Boss.No.1 at his face a go "look who's incompetent now......HAH!!" *flex muscles*
Friday Lippy Post -- Fasio Lip Gloss
Before I went to Australia, I was looking around for a good lipgloss, not too bulky...with a hint of pink hue....thats my requirement. The reason is because well, lipgloss is a must for travelling if you want to keep your lips protected and i don't have any pink color glosses.
I chanced upon Fasio in Watsons and so happen that they were having sales......like 15% discount or something....
And i saw this fantastic color i instantly knew i must get that!
Fasio is a Japanese brand, by Kose Corp, Tokyo. The one i bought (no.007) is pink....but kinda mettalic in a way that the shine is so beautiful. Also, after using it I really love it! The round-tip applicator is really cool, it is able to help you spread the gloss around your lips evenly.
I use the Fasio lip lipstick in pink No.851 as base and top up with this lipgloss in No.007 Shocking-Rosa.
Just so beautiful!!! (I only realize that when I come back and looking through the photos......and was thinking to myself.....dang wat beautiful lip-color i had on....and i thought hard what combination lippy I used that day)
The lipstick is a small little trial version I got inside the Seventeen Event goody bag couple of years ago. The color is nice.....probably gonna be buying it when i see a Fasio counter.
Loose Weight-- Easier said than done
Diet Day 1
----------------
Breakfast: 1 pack of chicken twist cambell soup + myVito Wheat crackers
Lunch: GUILTY GUILTY!! ate lotsa meat. Bak kut teh + 1 bowl of rice
Tea: 1 cup of coffee + munch on dried mango slices
Dinner: felt guilty over lunch and decided to forgo dinner... Made a cup of campbell's chicken soup and ate 2 slices of honeydew.
Easer said than done.
Dieting is really not easy. It would be much easier when there is a motivation factor....but i guess striving to look as good as Jessica alba is motivation enough eh?
Last year I manage to loose approx 5Kg before my wedding...i guess to look good on THE DAY is the greatest motivation....I've heard that 99% women will loose weight before their wedding day....I suppose its true. It is the ultimate look-your-best day anyway.
I must thank Kenny Sia for giving me the idea to loose weight by doing a detox diet prior to my wedding date......Kenny did a post on detox diet and i was totally motivated to take the challenge. Of course I did not post silly restrictions to myself as looking good is one thing but to be FIT and not weak or faint during the wedding day is even more important! Therefore i went on a 3 day detox inspired by Kenny's post. I restricted myself from eating meat nor carb but only greens for 3 whole day. Of course i cheated when my ceasors salad came with bacon...yumm :) hehe
Amazingly the diet work rather well....... of course I did not see significant improvement immediately, only lost about 1kg or so in 3 days. However, when i resume back eating normal, i find that my intake had reduced and i cant take in as much as i can before....which is good as I was able to reduce food intake later on.
But doing detox, you must be really careful with the plan. You must give yourself a break at that you must eat normally after the 3 days!!! This is so that before you go crazy and wallop infinate amount of unforgiven food and backfire if u go beyond 3 days!!!
I don't believe in express weight loss...i believe in loosing them slowly but surely. So detox diet can be done perhaps once or twice per month untill you reach your ideal weight.
Personally, i dont give a hoot about my body weight as the numbers are only known to you but not others so why bother.... Looking good however is most important, and not having unwanted buldges over the wrong places.
Current goal is to loose the bulges at midriff, cellulite infested thunder thighs, equally flabby thunder arms.......i'd like to keep the C cup but the booty can also reduce abit la....
Note to self : stock up on nuts and prunes...Green tea too.
2nd Note to Self: missy...i know what you're thinking and the answer is NO!!!.......NO KFC!!!
Mega Sales is over.....so what have you achieved?
Ya so September marks the end of the month long Mega sales.
I love that my birthday falls on the megasales month. That way, people get to buy me pretty things at a discount! :)
So for those of you who didn't manage to get around shopping during the mega sales, worry not....as Deepavali and Hari Raya season is around the corner (both on Oct), i forsee there will still be lots of sales going on in September. Just received the Jusco members day notification. Mark your calendar shopperholics...its on 13th September!
Was pretty busy the past 2 days....i hope it will help me in my goal in loosing the buldges.....less munchies......(who am i kidding, im munching on currypuff as I type now...hah.....now thats for breakfast)
Went over to KL on tuesday for appointment...normally if i'm around bukit bintang area for morning meetings, i'd definately end up in Sg.Wang during lunch time for a shopping quickie....
This time around i totally struggled when i drove past the golden triangle....totally had to chant "sales is over....sales is over....sales is over......." to stop myself from the "unexpected" stop. teeheee....... So manage i did to resist temptation ......yee get thou behind me!! The magnetic force around Sg.Wang was reallly tugging me hard....but i persisted....yey! good one for the wallet.
oh ya, so the Japanese princess Kiko gave birth to a baby boy huh?! I see the rumours are true. Well, congratulations to the Japanese for maintaining the monarchy...Though I was slightly dissappointed that little princess Aiko is not gonna grow up to be an empress...but i see this is best for her and her mother too. Wow, Finally...a boy!! Bless that child......for he had relieved much stress for the nation i suppose..
Oh.....and check out baby suri Cruise on the latest Vanity Fair mag....so cute!
S Size nomore
My clothes are growing at an exponantial rate the wardrobe can hardly fill up all my clothes anymore...
We're planning to make a built-in wardrobe or probably section up the space and create a walk-in concept...
however at the moment, looking at our work schedule i doubt we would get anything done soon.
Thus, i've decided to put away some of my clothes...
Actually I do that most of the time, like say a couple of times per year...
most of the time i rid of clothes that are too tight...too ugly....or i-have-no-idea-why-i-bought-them clothes...
I figure that i would sell them on ebay and get back a fraction of my investments but....i'm too lazy to deliver parcels.....maybe I will try that one day when i finally set up an ebay account...
Some of the clothes that i get rid are still new, most only worn like once or twice, some i never even wear before...i usually just give them away to my cousins......
But frankly, i dont think i dress up very stylish but i do have people coming up to me asking for hand-me-downs...so i guess they must like what i wear alot....
So cleaning up....you know sometimes you keep clothes that you totally ADORE although you cant' fit into them anymore?? No?? *I hate you!!!* :P
hehe...Anyway, since piling up the pounds, there are some dresses that i can hardly fit into anymore sadly but they're still hanging pretty inside my wardrobe waiting to be paraded once more by ms.FATshion....like my pretty silver cheongsam that I wear to wedding dinners....or this pretty red floral dress with a high thigh slit...or this S size shirt i bought on sales......well.....I've decided that they're taking up space and i can't bare to see them each time i slide the wardrobe door open.....I finally did what I have to do. I folded them ALL up...ALL that i can't fit into anymore must not be seen.......thus its stashed in a box.....deep inside the closet.....*wipe hands*....now there...no more eyesore.
Oh dont worry....I will be able to wear them again one day.........you'll see....
Note to self : No more munching on snacks....unless its japanese seaweed or fruits you hear me Ms.FATshion!!!??!
One for the monday blues
I think I'm a dreamer.
No not the dreams of events that plays in your mind when you're sleeping. Not that type.
Dreams I mean are aspirations, desires.....accomplishments..
.in that sense.
Everyone is entitled to dream....sometimes it is good as it helps one set a goal in life and working towards a goal is better than living life day-in-day-out just like every other day.
But sometimes, dreams ki
