What Should I buy from The Body Shop?

I need to spend about RM120 bucks at The body shop before 21st February to entitle myself for a RM35 rebate. teehee...i like that they remind me via sms before it expires so that i wont get my RM35 forfeited.

Pap Smear and Checkup

Well, I don't visit the doctor very often(which is a good thing) but as i'm reaching 30 soon, i thought it would be a good idea to do a full check-up. So today i walked-in to a women specialist clinic for a full health check and some women-related test.

I admit it was very scary and taunting since it is my first time. Plus i was very fearful if the results turn out unpleasant. But thats life.....we need to face whatever life circumstances that comes our way. The sooner it is to find out, the sooner we can nip the situation in the butt...

So i brave myself and took a bold step to get myself checked.

First thing was to take my weight...OMG im so heavy i really must do something about this weight issue.....

And then we took my blood pressure. OMG....its quite high lo.......im so young oni......this wan gotta go check again....perhaps its stress and tense...

Then.......i had to take off my clothes....even my panties.....and loosen my bra.
eeee......so shy....but thank God my doctor is a nice Lady or else i would be so uncomfortable loh...

We did a breast examination. She thought me how to self-examine my breast.......
No lumps.....phew......

Then we did the pap smear. Eeeee............this wan was quite uncomfortable. This is when the doctor takes a sample of your cell from the cervix for a lab test. Im not sure what was going on down there but she pushed something inside.....felt kinda funny....but all was over in a minute. phewww........

Then we did an ultrasound. I admit it was scary to look at your uterus in ultrasound. I was soooo fearful to see something i dont want to see there.......heheee.......but then i saw my uterus......doctor says looks good n healthy. No growth, no cyst. double phew!!!!

Lastly, she took my blood samples..............

So i'd be getting the results in a week's time. I'm quite healthy except for the blood pressure.
The entire check set me back by RM320! youch! so expensive ne.......all those done within 45minutes oni.........no long que to wait which is great.

I feel good after the test. Nothing to worry about. But i do try to relax myself more........i dont want to have highblood pressure. I must not stress so much di.......not good for my health....perhaps its a good time to go for holiday...

Lipstick Gone Bad

Does lipstick expire?
Yes they do..
Never believe what your mom says.....
my mom use to keep her lipsticks forever and never throw any away until its finish.
But, thats a big big big mistake.....because lipsticks do go bad...

So how do you know??? When you apply them on the lips and they smell like crap!!
heheeee........i have a box full of lipsticks..and some i've been using very often, some not.
So recently, i accidentally took my old Estee Lauder before a quick dash out.....and when i slip them on my lips.....yuck.....immediately i knew that the lipstick is spoiled and threw it away....yucks....it smells and feels like crap.....

Typically it is recommended not to keep a lipstick for more than 4 years. Thats the shelf life.
;) Time to throw the old ones....

He dropped me an email.......to which it ended up at the junk folder. I spotted a familiar name while cleaning up the junk folder...i wonder why because most of the time i just select all and delete them. But i manage to open the email...true enough, its from him. I didn't know why he emailed me out of the blue, but i was glad because he was a prominant figure in my life during my teen. After all, he was a very very fun erm...."admirer" to have. Of course being a social butterfly during my teen, i had some really fun experience of having the senior boys sending me flowers and such.... He was ...one of my biggest fan.

To my surprise he is currently still very much single. And extremely successful at his young age!! A self made millionaire i must say. Well, catching up with him definitely brought back much memories of the past...the good ol days. I was 16. He was 19. I played hard to get of course. haha...

I can't help but to wonder "what if"...you know what i mean....but i reject all such thoughts and remind myself that I have found-and-married-"The One". I wonder why such suggestive thoughts came over me and the immenseness of it after he jokingly told me that he wish we were back in time...and that if i ever get bored i should look for him...whatever that means...I should just kick his @ass and say *toot* off....

I guess....such experiences happen to married people....and one must be extra careful and guard the heart with much care....and never to yield to stirring emotions.....

Local Guy Marrying China Girls

At my current age....i'm seeing alot of weddings going on left right centre....especially exponentially these few years... I guess it is the "time" for my peers to get hitched. Late twenties is the norm these days....
However, something that sparked me to blog about this today is about Local guys marrying china girls..... I really am very curious about this situation because apart from reading about it in the papers with astounding numbers.....personally i have known of 3 handsome good men that have found love in china madens and have married them recently, and another one who just tied the knot last week.

The reason i find it amusing is because as far as i know, in Malaysia, there are MORE women than men. And on the other hand, there are more Men than Women in China (this is quite evident because those days, general population in china can only have 1 child per home, in which most of them would prefer a Boy to carry their lineage)

Having said that, I really dont understand why the immense number of Malaysian Men marrying these madens from China. Leaving the men in china.....erm...womenless...so to speak. And women in Malaysia, men less! kekeeke..... Am i confusing you guys yet?

I wonder what is the reason that these handsome good men are attracted to these women from China rather than our local Malaysian women. Is it that generally they are more submissive in nature? Is it that they are easily contented materially unlike us whom are a demanding lot?
Perhaps these men are being look down upon by Malaysian women but had manage to gain much respect, honor and admiration from the ladies in china. Or perhaps these ladies from china are prettier, fairer, soft spoken...etc...... I can only guess.....

Another PR wave came and gone......
Many regain back their PR. Mine is still stubbornly zero.
I hate that.
So today, i've decided to bow down to the big G and conform....
After all, Big G is synonymous with Search and in my opinion by far the best Search engine.
Hopefully my efforts will pay off in time and by the next wave, at least....Big G will reward me with something. Fingers crossed!

I've removed my text link ads today. As painful as it is. Well, not really THAT painful. I only got about 12USD last month....in average btwn 10-15USD per month in TextLinkAds lah....

So i bid farewell to effortless money monthly.......
I've also decided to stop payperpost and smorty. I've removed the old post (only 2 for ppp) 1 will mature in 1 month, have to leave that one there.... For my 2 smorty posts, i dont know if i can remove them.......gotta do some studying first.

Anyway, here is my first step towards regaining my PR after careful considerations...and sound advice by 5xmom of course....

LONDON - Twins who were separated at birth got married without realizing they were brother and sister, a lawmaker said, urging more information be provided on birth certificates for adopted children.

A court annulled the British couple's union after they discovered their true relationship, Lord David Alton said.

"Everyone has a right to knowledge about their lineage, genealogy and identity. And if they don't, then it will lead to cases of incest," Alton said during a telephone interview Friday.

Alton first revealed details of the unusual case last month during a five-hour debate about a bill that would change regulations about human embryology.

"I was recently involved in a conversation with a High Court judge who was telling me of a case he had dealt with," Alton said according to a transcript of the Dec. 10 debate. "It involved the normal birth of twins who were separated at birth and adopted by separate parents.

Money making thingamajing online is sooooooo confusing...

I've been trying out some of the money making thingamajings just to try out and see how they work...
but after couple of tries......i get soooooooo confused.
See, i thought the best option to make more pocket money is by signing up with as many type of means(advertisers....etc) as possible because we all know that a single stream of revenue takes ALOT of time and effort, and not to mention risky too. Thus i've been trying to use various avenue such as adsense, ppp, TLA, smorty, sponsoredreview,kontera,nuffnang...etc.

However, not only i have to figure out how each of them works.......i also discovered that I have to pledge my loyalty. hmm....now THAT may be a problem. I have to choose only ONE revenue making means. Because, well..........they don't like each other. I think its really crazy and childish for advertisers to be so selfish.......i thought competition is a good thing for the real marketing world? But why is Internet Marketing soooo selfish?!!!
For example,

1. if u want more moolah from google adsense, you are not suppose to SELL LINKS(TLA) or write Paid Post (PPP). Otherwise, they take away your pagerank (mine got striped from PR3 to PR0...what a price to pay for writing 3 post of reviews only!!).....Recently Smorty

2. Smorty have limited opportunity but recently sent me a potential campaign....however there is a requirement...it says..."No blogs that have PayPerPost articles existing on the blog and no PayPerPost advertising either please."

wookay......can't do thatda one....

3. Then i checked out SponsoredReview for some interesting post....but there are requirements such as "no blogspot, blogger, typepad, other generic domains. Pr2+ with no indication of sponsored posts, affiliation to sponsoredreviews, text-link-ads.com, payperpost etc on your website."

hmmm....can't do thatda one either....

4. Then...i found the ONLY ppp post that I can do and did it.......at the same time i got approved by Kontera...... which leads to all my post being auto-linked by contentlink. Bummer......... PPP rejected my post due to the links that i couldn't figure out how to disable....

5. Nuffnang recently announced a special loyalty program that sort of disallow you to display ANY OTHER advertiser from SEA besides Nuffnang. Thats a really selfish monopoly...and not to mention boring too. I mean even TV channels we have more than 1 right.......


sigh....

It really boggles my mind how the Internet people function......I mean, its so confusing. I have to have high PR in order to qualify to write PPP, but if i write PPP reviews, google will remove my PR........er.....so howszat work again??!!

Britney Spears is psyco

While in Malaysia, everyone's hyped about Dr.Chua Soi Lek Sex tape.......
Over at the west, all the media hyped about how f***ed-up is britney spears....

Seems that britney refused to hand-over her boys to k-fed as custody ordered by the court.
The poor gal was ruled unfit to take care of her boys.....Some big hoohaa went on at her resident that the police had to come...she was even strapped in an ambulance to be sent to the hospital for psycho observation.

Well, the thing is, though she may not be fit as a mother, it is not funny the way celebrity gossip channels talk about her. It is really hurtful. Though i believe the court order was for her own good(also for the better of her 2 boys), it IS very tough for her to let go of her baby. I mean I believe it was just her motherly instinct or reflex or watever you call it to refuse to let go of her boys..... Not that i like britney but i guess she is definitely having an emotional breakdown....and with that much of media attention as well as seriously hurtful comments about her.......i hope she can cope well and wont do anything crazy .... i fear for her life, her future.....and the poor kids's future.....its not easy to be a celebrity.

New year new glasses....

yey! got myself a pair of new glasses.......make me look so smarty @ss this one...haha.........my shortsightedness have increased. Bad bad!!! sigh......
how to reduce when i'm glued to my notebook whole day lei?? Working time also on the notebook.....not working time also on the notebook surfing the net......sigh.........and i thought wearing contacts should be able to help reduce the power so i have been wearing contacts for at least half a year already. oh well.......at least it is balanced now......unlike previously when the right eye was having a higher power....which causes much strain and giddiness to me when i wear my old glasses....

But i've decided to get myself a new pair of glasses because contact lenses can be very high maintenance. RM50 for 3 pairs of bauch & Lomb soft lenses..... each pair last about a month. Other than that, i need to buy solution to wash and soak them daily. A good solution costs about RM18+- per bottle.... Sometimes i use daily contacts from johnsons & johnsons acuvue, that one costs about RM90 per box of 15 pairs. Which means every time i wear them im burning RM6!! 1 time usage leh.......Very costly hor...So hopefully by having these new glasses, i can reduce my usage for contact lenses. :)

What a way to start the year with the juiciest story in Malaysia!! ya....the sex scandal

I know everyones talking about it...i can't help but to jump into the bandwagon and verbalize my personal opinion on the matter. I just have to.

Seriously, i think that the issue is being blown out of proportion. Though i do not condone his behavior, I do not feel that it is such a big thing to condemn him about. Its just a sensational story for medias to capitalize on. Same goes to blogs that wants more traffic.....

I mean, do you seriously think that politicians are angels?!! come'on lah....they are mere human beings. And by virtue of being a man, he is cursed to lust for women. And if "the women" volunteers to give in to him......its consensual sex. Technically, It is..........not wrong if the wife is ok with it. (ok this may be debatable, lets leave this for next time...)

I think many prominent men had committed the same mistake as this poor old man, but unlucky for him, he was being filmed.

One thing I am very curious about is at WHICH BLOODY HOTEL did they go to and being filmed?!!!! Can't be some cheap motel right? Must be some hotel with at least some class right??He is after all a Datuk wat.......datuk stays at 5 star hotels.....

..hmmmm......If that is the case, WHY DID THE HOTEL ROOM HAVE A HIDDEN CAMERA???? Is that even LEGAL??! Doesn't that violate a persons privacy?? I mean, would you be comfortable to know that HOTELS HAVE HIDDEN CAMERA???!! OMG i swear if i find out which hotel is that, i won't step my foot into it EVER!!!

Since Dr.Chua have resigned from all post, he'd probably be kinda free now. I would like to suggest to him to look for a good lawyer and SUE whoever it is that filmed him for DEFAMATION! Yes!!! he should. Hope he sues the hotel too....this is outrageous.

ok.....enough rants.......anybody knows where i can see the video ah?? I'm so curious to know who is his girlfriend!!! hehe......

Beauty and Fashion Resolution 2008

Inspired by sephora, im gonna make my own beauty and fashion resolution for 2008. Here goes:

1. I will pamper my face with better beauty products (age is catching up...gotta do what it takes)
2. I will learn how to shape my eyebrows (i suck...and i hate doing it)
3. I will use more colours (my shadows are so boring........i hardly touch color pallets)
4. I will find the ultimate mascara (anyone tried the Jessica Alba 3D mascara frm revlon yet)
5. I will work harder to afford myself a designer handbag (I want a burberry)
6. I will be more diligent in my beauty regime...
7. I will stop buying more trash and buy more quality clothes instead of quantity....
8. Find THE comfortable working shoe
9. Start using lotion on a daily basis
10. loose 10 pounds (duh!!....its on the list every year...hehe)
