3-in-1 Warehouse Sale

I did not make it to the Dior warehouse sales last week. Was pretty upset about that but i had to fix my car so there wasn't any options....

So since today is a public holiday! Yey!
I coaxed hubby n tempted him by telling him about the Times warehouse sales.....cheeky me, actually I wanted to go to the Guardian's warehouse sales which was held at the same location. hehe...
So hubby wanted to go to Times warehouse, as usual he likes to go there because he get to buy his techie books at marked-down prices.

I had a ball of a time at the Guardian fair! Bought quite a lot of food stuffs.........
Beauty purchases includes Loreal Glam Shine Gold Holographic in "Gold Berry". Lovely color for the night. It was only RM13. About half of the usual selling price i reckon.

I also got another lippy by in2it at only RM4. It was the mega shine series that I wanted. If not mistaken, I almost bought it at about RM12 or something like that.......so RM4 was cool.

I was also happy with my Vo5 shampoo + conditioner purchases at RM6 each. (Usually i buy them around RM12.90)
Also got the vo5 hotoil as well as the leave on moisturizer at RM10 each.(usually about RM24 each)

I was delighted that instead of 2 warehouse sales there were 3 at the same location!!!! The GME branded warehouse sales was there too!! I have no idea why they were there because I thought they were suppose to be at Subang.

Anyhow, happy me. I manage to get my hands on some very comfortable hush puppies (from Japan) at RM70 for 2. So cheappppppppppp!!!! But sadly there weren't much choices nor sizes. Else i would have bought more than 2. There was this lady who kept holding on to THAT pair of shoes that i was eyeing on and at MY SIZE. She can't even fit into it properly. But after I politely told her that if she can't fit into it I would like to have it. She kept holding on to them........and finally after a good 15 minutes attempt squizing her size 7 feet into it, tells me that she is BUYING. sheeeshh......I dont understand some people. Cheap doesnt mean you should buy shoes 1 size smaller. You'd probably gonna regret it. Why not let someone else be happy with their purchases.....someone else like MEEEEE. I totally lingered there waiting for her to squeez her feet into those shoes.....oh poor shoes.

Studio shoes was going for RM10 each. I didn't buy any. I guess i have enough cheap&uncomfortable pretty shoes.
I also bought a Camel jacket for my Father-in-law. I think it suits him real well. I think its pretty cheap at RM60.

Totall damage for the day came to about RM300. Sorry no pictures. I borrowed my camera to my SIL.
But, if you like warehouse sales, i think its worth a visit. But parking is kinda hazardous.

Screwed Up

OK.
The template thingy is taking up more time than expected.
Its totally screwed.
Thinking that I "was" quite a techie myself, I thought that i'm able to make a 3 column template out of the html rather than downloading a ready made template from somewhere (because I don't know what crawlers they may plant into those codes)

hehe...overestimated myself.
The template doesn't reflect 3columns although you see 3 columns at the front-end.
at the template, the 2 sidebar appears vertically stacking in a single column. HMmmmmmmm
I need to figure out how to get the alignments right.

At the moment, this shall do. A little wacky n rough at the edges........hehe.....

Recommended: Christian Dior Warehouse

I've been to many warehouse sales. And I truely recommend the Christian Dior warehouse sales because they are genuine. The stuffs are really cheap. Like for example a Dior Addict lipstick that is selling for abour RM70 outthere and they sell for RM25 during the warehouse sales.
Do head over if you have time. Sorry for the late information.
I missed last year's sales. But i went to the previous one.
I haven't have the time to head over to this one but i hope i can make it.

Today my hands got itchy and I've decided to upgrade my template to the new blogger templates.

BAD IDEA!!

I lost all my adsense that i've painstakingly learn how to place them.....

Secondly, I need to re-customize my template to fit all that I wanted to include into my blog such as blog links....and also some ad space....etc...

I'm thinking of tweaking it into a 3 column blog....

er....this may take some time...
so if the blog currently looks ugly to you......
so sorry....i'm fixing it.



ps. I just found out that the Christian Dior warehouse sales is this weekend!!
i think im going tomorrow....get ready to use my spanking new Citibank Gold card!! heh heh heh.....

Tresemme Saloon Shampoo

I wanted to change my shampoo because I was getting bored with Sunsilk already.
While I was browsing at the Watsons isle and isles of shampoos.....i overheard the young girls talking about this shampoo and about how nice the fragrant is....

So, that made me curious enough to check out this shampoo.

Frankly speaking. If it had'nt been the girls, I would never take a second glance on TRESemme!!
Reason? Simple. UGLY PACKAGING.

You all should know by now that I'm such a sucker for pretty things!!! I hate using UGLY things......i know i know.....i understand the basic rules of "don't judge the book by its cover".
But....but............OKlah...I gave it a chance wat.....I went and buy it anyway.
hehehe.....Thats because I thought the shampoo smells really nice. And the no.1 thing for me to consider a shampoo is the fragrance. It has to make me smell like a princess and not some medicated smell of herbs ....yucks.....

Been using TRESemme for the past few weeks and its been good thus far. The one i bought was for anti frizz. Its actually pretty good. I suppose the packaging is kinda UGLY because it is suppose to be saloon shampoo where it is used by professionals and not for the general public. But now that they do sell to the public, i suggest some re-package to attract people like me. :)

Yes!! I'm going!! Finally got the tickets.........
"My Fair Lady" was my ultimate favouritestttttttt show when I was a little girl......
Well, maybe apart from "The Sound Of Music" i suppose......
Audrey Hepburn was such a darling......I really love her in the black n white number....
I could watch the show over and over and over.....
My favourite scene was when she poped the marbles into her mouth to learn how to speak
"the rain in spain stays mainly in the plane" <-- is this what she was actually saying?? bcos this is what i remember laaa....haha... oh and she also made me loveeeee chocolates.....

Career development

Well...for those of u that have been following my little "corporate drama"
Yup...i've finally tendered my resignation and am feeling great about it!
At the mean time, I've received a letter of offer....with a much higher salary(yey for more shopping!!), shorter working hours, location which is much nearer to home.....better commission scheme....etc

Hope it's all good news!! yey!! can't wait!
Worst case scenario, if i can't take the presure is to quit within the probation period (just 1 day notice only mah).....
No harm trying lo.....

Normal eyedrops are not for contact lenses!

Renu Multiplus Lubricating & Rewetting Drops


If you are like me, my eyes gets dry and irritable often whenever I have my lenses on, especially while driving when the aircond blower blows directly to the eye. Experienced that?? ya....often i do.

Whenever I have my lenses on, I'd usually be having them on for more than 8 hours straight from morning till before I go to bed. Thus, towards the end of the day, the eyes tends to feel dry and lack of moisture.

I used to use normal eyedrops (like eyemo or optrex) to lubricate the eyes. But I've just recently found out that I'm not supposed to do that!! gulp!!....
Eyemo or optrex, those are for the eyes....and not for contact lenses.
Thus, I went to the pharmacy to look for contact lense specific lubricant.
In the end of the day, I found myself this from Bauch&Lomb. Renu multiplus drops.
The instruction says that it is for "soft contact lenses, including disposable lenses"
yey! exactly what I was looking for.

At first I was skeptical. Frankly I was looking for other brands...anything for Bauch&lomb...especially RENU!! hehe....ya la of course it is because of the re-call that happened last year. All because of the hoo-haa that happened in singapore. I used to use RENU sterile wash for my lenses as I tot they were the best brand around. Untill last year.....poor B&L, i suppose their sales must have decline much after the incident. I threw away all that I have left and bought myself some other cheap sterile solutions. hehe

Anyway, this eyedrop for lenses work well for me so far. Besides, its the only brand that have what I need. So untill i can find other brands that does the same function, RENU shall do.


Notes: Remember dont use normal eyedrops if you are wearing contact lenses!! also, dont use optrex while wearing lenses!!(you know those eye lotion that you pour into a tiny cup and rinse youre eyes) It also states that you are not suppose to use it 30 minutes prior to wearing your lenses.

Get rid of blackheads with SkinLite

I've been using this for quite some time.
Skinlite from Korea.
Recently bought my 3rd and I love it.

Its actually a nose pore strip.

I got them from sasa at RM8.90 (sometimes with discount)
Inside the box they have 6 individual strips.
All you have to do is the wash your face clean.
Then wet your nose.
Place the strips on your nose.
Leave it for 10 minutes or so.
Peel it off!!! ouchhhh
does it hurt?? neh..........not at all.....
And the results are pretty amazing.

oh my goodness......I thought she looked prettier in the before picture. All she needed to do was to loose some weight and tone-up and she'll look gorgeous already.
I thought the after photo was yucks.....though the dimple was cute...cos ive always wanted dimples too!! hehe

For the life of me, I'm absolutely against cosmetic reconstruction.
Which struck a question in me......are women with surgical enhancement allowed to participate in beauty pagents??
I sure hope not, because it would definately be unfair to the natural beauties outthere.

Speaking of beauty queens. Remember the "chubby" Miss Malaysia?? hehe.....sorry i can't help it. Ya, Andrea Fonseka. I happen to think that she is absolutely gorgeous. But she wasn't at her best during her reign which was a pitty. She had a bulging tummy. Very unsightly during pageants that it was a sore eye n criticized by many.
But ever since that, she totally matured alot. With a little help from Marie France. She has totally transformed into a sizzling hot babe!!!



OMG....she is sooo pretty now!!
