Blogebrity my backside lahhh........
Blogebrity.com recently released 3 full list of people they deem as the A-listers, B-Listers and C-Listers. Well, noone knows if these are actual facts through statistical research or just mere speculation.
I've finally took the time to check out the site. Looking through
A...............................B....................................C............................. OK frankly speaking I only found 2 sites that i actually know of..... 1 being Tony Pierce (he is cool....even put up the pic of our very own Miss.Malaysia and 2. Xiaxue.(1 and only singaporean site listed, where is Mrbrown? Mr.Miyagi? or my personal fav cowboycaleb? And this girl is at the wayyyyy bottom(only coz its sorted in alphabetical order) of the C-list can u imagine??? 8000 hits per day n all she get is a lousy C-list?? and where is KennySia??? *ahaks*..... okayla...dont mind me....I just feel like whining....Cos, I've randomly clicked through some of those names and......*yawn*....they are shitloads of boring sites.....mostly News......News......and more News. I was like....."what de???" Some of those sites are just like a collection of blogs from a handfull of bloggers. I think they're pretty smart combining forces. but boy they are capital BORING.........I mean, If i want news and facts i might as well go to CNN.com rite??! c'mon.....

Gwyneth Paltrow The New Face Of Estee Lauder..........(those eyebags gotta go!!)

(Fashionasia says: Those eye bags....seriously gotta go.....)
Paltrow New Face Of Estee Lauder
Perhaps looking to capitalize on that "new mom" glow, Estee Lauder has named Gwyneth Paltrow as one of the faces of the makeup and fragrance brand.
The Oscar-winning actress has signed a multiyear contract. She will first appear in a new global print and TV ad campaign to begin this holiday season for Pleasures fragrance, Estee Lauder announced Monday.
"I am very proud to be a part of such a fine company," Paltrow said in a statement. "Its roots have been deep in the culture of classic American beauty for decades."
Elizabeth Hurley, the primary spokesmodel for Estee Lauder since 1995, when Pleasures was launched, will become the new face of the company's Re-Nutriv skin care line. Models Liya Kebede and Carolyn Murphy remain as representatives of various Estee Lauder brands.
The 32-year-old Paltrow and her husband, Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin, celebrated the first birthday of their daughter, Apple, on May 14.
Paltrow won an Oscar for her role in 1998's "Shakespeare in Love." She'll appear in "Proof," an adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize winning play set for release this fall.

My first Encounter With Japanese Anime

and i fell in lurrrveeee with Japanese Anime.
I Fell in love with the japanese language for as long as i could remember. I'm quite linguistic and I pick up languages pretty fast. If I'd getto choose 2 languages I'd love to learn, it would be 1.Japanese and 2.French.
I actually took the trouble to enquire about Japanese classes begining of the year and last week the centre called me up and ask me if I'd like to register. It starts today actually. I was tossing the idea......Of course I'd love to register but the class starts at 7pm. I get off work at 6.30pm (though normally I'd leave the office about 8-9pm on average). The centre is in KL plaza. I'm in PJ. Thus my dilemma. Sigh.....I've wanted to register myself for Jap classes for as long as i could remember but the timing is just so wrong......Plus the fact that I have so many projects to handle on hand makes it even more difficult. Is there any language centre in PJ that teaches japanese? I'd love to register myself.

Dumbfoundedgobsmackedflabbergasted!!!
See I consider myself a newbie in the blogesphere, plus the fact that i blog anonymously makes it just natural that I'd like to keep a low profile of myself or my fashionasia blog for that matter. I dont do the usual blog-whoring antics and I write for the sake of my passion, which is fashion and hopefully my honesty and innocent experiences is found useful for some readers that happen to need fashion advice and with sheer luck stumble across my humble space.
Never have i ever thought I'd be mentioned in the famous chanlilian.net,
nor have i ever thought I'd be linked to several really cool fashion blogs like MissyJ & DitzySpice & Moca and a few others too.......
Well, i do ping pps but I never bothered about whats going on around there cos I consider myself a total stranger and I dont know anybody there....... But today my fingers were itchy so i actually clicked on the link about the PPS award nominations just to see Who's Who have been voted. OMG!!!! I actually saw my Fashionasia being nomitated under the....*flip flip dictionary to check spelling* - N-E-O-P-H-Y-T-E Blog Of the Year Category. *Fashionasia Smacks own forehead....*Piak*...... OMG!!!!!..... me???? ....*check the meaning of Neophyte from dictionary.com*..........OooOoOooOooo.....Cooool.........(Means a newbie blog of the year for those who dont know whats neophyte)....... Geee.....I dont know what to say.....Well I know for a fact that i may not even stand a chance to be in the final 3 for voting but then being nominated to me is such a heartful of love already.....awwwww.....*wipe tears* Thanks the two of u who nomitated my blog....
The feeling i have inside is just like winning a pageant or something......I feel like putting a tiara on my head and walk down the aisle and do the robotic handwave....kekekeke.....
Anywayz....this is a post dedicated to people who love my space and frequents my blog ....thanks for da support.....lotsa hugssss
IMHO, Kenny deserves the title......he's so famous hack he's got xiaxue proposing to him....Now who can beat that you tell me??

Hiptunes Fashion Belt for your ipod mini
To be fashionable with your iPod. Hiptunes Fashion Belt is a must have.

http://www.genrecollection.com/hiptunes/mini.htm
Visit Genrecollection.com to view a full range of colors available.
I love the silver belt version.

Totally cool. However this is for mini ipod. (Retails at USD29.95)
For iPod users. There isnt much choice. In fact, there isn't any choice. Only one , this one. (retails at USD35)

Cool.....hope this post will inspire more designers to design cool accessories for ipod lovers outthere.
On a side note, remember my post on the Maybelline Lash Discovery Mascara?
Well, since it was a public holiday in Malaysia yesterday(Wesak Day), I went out shopping and discovered that Maybelline now have the "Limited Edition" Lash Discovery Mascara. They have 3 fantastic colors. Fuschia, Burgandy and Gold. (Well so far I only saw these 3 colors) Plus, its not only plain colors, it sparkles with added glitters. So me being a sucker for anything "Limited Edition".......bought 1 for myself. I bought the one in Gold from the Guardian Pharmacy in 1Utama (Retails at around RM 20.90, 15% off). I actually was looking for a cool mascara that is in Electric Blue but failed to find any suitable. However, I would like to get all the other colors like fuschia.....OoooOOooo..... The only bad thing about it was that there were no testers available for me to check the colors so I wasnt able to determine which color is best lest i buy all 3. Thus i chose the Gold one........Personally am not a party parson so I guess its only suitable for attending functions although the color is pretty natural looking, i guess its okay to use it for regular outing even. However for you gals who like to party. This is something worth investing on. Definately will accentuate the sparkle in your eyes. Sorry cant find any pics.
Have a Happy Monday!!

Natalie Portman - Bald!!!
Whats the definition of a beautiful women?
I once was told that to really know if a women is a real beauty, shave off all her hair. And if you can still say that this gal is beautiful. She most definately is.
www.nat-portman.net
Natalie Portman = Beautiful
Even without her lovely locks she still looks gorgeous. Although I still prefer her with hair.

Apparently Natalie shaved her head bald because she is currently shooting "V for Vendetta" in which she is playing a prisoner.
Quote from her about the new do, Natalie says: "Some people will think I'm a neo-Nazi, or that I have cancer, or I'm a lesbian." Let's go with that last one.

Metallic is in!!
Clothes with material i once swore i'd never wear is now creeping its way back and......hopefully some into my closet too.
Here are some mix and matches that you can go for to achieve the metallic girl look.
Note: If you're a corporate lady, please dont overdo the metallics and go to work looking like a freaking disco ball. Just choose 1 metallic item per day. For example a metallic clutch goes with the white suite. Metallic heels goes with a nice black number....etc. Anyhow, i don't encourage too much metallics for the office. But after office, you can wear metallic anything and everything!

Matellic Satchell from Juicy Culture in Rose Gold Leather
This can be easily matched with this Charles Nolan Metallic pink T, $168, http://www.saksfifthavenue.com

This tube top. $118, goes great with the luca gold shoulder bag

from www.target.com, $35.99
What about shoes then?
I found this metallic silver flats and totally fell in lurveeee with it.
from Don CicilloSilver or Gold?? I'm a silver kinda girl so normally i'd go for anything silver
But, I know loads of people who loves gold so this Thong Sandal is just as great.

KL Fashion Week-Most Stylish Women of the Year
Being a self proclaimed Malaysian Fashion Blogger, I felt the strong conviction not blogging a single issue regarding the event that lasted a week long begining 3rd May ending 8th May 2005.

Below are the winners for the KL Fashion Week 2005 Editors Awards:

BEST NEW GENERATION DESIGNER
Donna Chew
BEST MENSWEAR DESIGNER
Kwan by Daniel Cho

Amber was selected by George Marciano himself to be co-winner in the international Guess Timeless Beauty competition. She's definately an achiever for a Malaysian Model. You can see her face anywhere on various ads in Malaysia.
MOST STYLISH WOMAN OF THE YEAR
Camelia
To me, Camelia is the most gorgeous and elegant looking singer in Malaysia and yup she most definately deserve this title.
MOST STYLISH MAN OF THE YEAR
Anuar Zain
DESIGNER OF THE YEAR
Khoon Hooi
Most Stylish Women of The Year- Camelia
---------------------------------------------------
I'd like to further comment on Camelia because I have no idea where is this girl now as she have been rather quiet in the music scene these days. I felt that this lady has the potential and totally have what it takes to be the on the top.
I've seen Camelia sing in person. She totally, absolutely can sing I mean i'm no fan of local artists(nor international for that matter cos i'm a geek and a fashionista...huh? nevermind...) Well, I was attending an IT award event in which Camelia was a guest entertainer and she sang a couple of numbers mostly english songs and she sang it flawlessly. On top of that, clad in gold satin gown, she was ever so stunning. And trust me, when a women says that another women is beautiful, she must be really(x100) beautiful bcos beautiful women(ahem) hardly praises another beautiful women unless she can score 9/10 by her standards.
I've seen Camelia up close too once when I was shopping in MNG and she was there too. I was looking at her and she noticed....gave me a sweet smile and I went like....oh wow.....beautiful and friendly too. Another plus points for her. So i smiled back and I also checked out the guy that was with her. He is really cute....male model tall dark and handsome cute.
Besides being beautiful and stylish. Camelia also have deep passion for interior design and i must say she does it quite well too. She plays host to the TV series called Casa Impian alongside Eric Leong, the famous interior designer.
I'm doing this because I just felt that she needs more publicity. ;)

I Know a Malaysian Girl when i see one......
Well, somewhere along the comment lines i realize the singaporeans commented that they can spot a Malaysian girl anytime by the way she dresses.
I wasnt really offended coz to me Malaysians..Singaporeans....we all come from the same roots. However, being a Fashion blogger, the comment got me thinking hard. What makes them say that? Do they mean it in a bad way or a good way?? Do we malaysian girls not have a sense for fashion or do we just dress "very the one kind wan"........
Well, of coz we cant generalize people but i finally realized that well yes i guess our sense of fashion may be a weee bit plain and not so elaborated......but i dont think so we dress all that different from singaporeans. I did a quick reference by visiting the Spore Queen of blogs to catch some examples of how Spore girls dresses...............frankly speaking......i dont see no difference......except that malaysian girls put far lesser make-up and goes much lighter on the accesssories.
Personally, I'm a jakun that hails frm the kampung up north and I do know what is it like to be in a fashionless state. My best "outfit" used to be my mickey-mouse T-shirt(ciplak wan) and lady-like jeans that cost RM 59.90. eh...don't laugh..........a decade ago thats alot wei........and my best shoes are pink sneakers from "power" available at all Bata Outlet. blueehhh......Perhaps i'm one of the contributing factor that causes this generalization?? If i have i'm sorry and I'm making it up to you Msian girls now by dressing myself up real well nowadays. Anyway, as teenagers back then we were good kids and saves our parents HUGEEEeee amount of money. This i realize when I noticed all the teens & tweens in KL wears more branded stuffs than i do. NIKE shoes, FILA beg, Dr.Marten boots, Kangool cap...etc.etc.
Recently i visited Singapore and i do agree somewhat that em Singaporean chicks do have some fashion sense. I remember walking pass the LV butique and actually see quite ALOT of people in there buying stuffs. Which, if you happen to walk by any high-end butiques like ESCADA in KLCC, there's hardly any mosquito inside.
When Malaysians mention the word "branded" it actually mean brands like DKNY, GUESS, ARMANI. Sometimes Esprit, Elle, MNG,Morgan, G2000 and such also falls into this category.
When Singaporeans mention the word "branded" it actually mean brands like PRADA, GUCCI, LV, BURBERRY,COACH.....etc..
Sooo.....in conclusion, Singaporeans spend money like water(cos they have more money than water). Malaysians waste water like singaporean spend money(cos we have more water than money).....kekekeke...... Just joking.....this is a meaningless post. I love both Spore n Msia very much thankew so aint nobody allowed to feel offended here.

Lip Balm
Anyhow, today i received a casual gift from her.....for no apparent reason.....how sweet of her.
She gave me this

its a lip balm from ForeverLiving called Aloe Lips, with jojoba.
I tried it today and it feels great on the lips. Great to use beneath lipsticks. Great trick to keep your lips from cracking is to put on lipbalm after all your makeup. Then drive to office, by the time you reach the office the lip balm more or less settles down on your lips and then after parking your car, put on the lipstick of your choice. This will help moisturize your lips and prevent cracking.
I also have this from Palmers.

This one smells nice enough to eat. Really smells like chocolate+vanilla. It is actually the cocoa butter series. I have the skin lotion too. They are great for ppl with really dry skin. I seldom use this but i buy them for The Man cos he has dry skin. So for those with dry skin, try em out.
