From the frying pan into the fire

[warning: rambling ahead. Need not read if you're looking for beauty writes]

The ex-big boss no.1 used to be a pain in the arse.........thus i was naturally happy when he abruptedly stepped down.
Though around the same time, I was offered a job from a rather prestigious company to lead the sales team. I have decided to let it go because I anticipated a better year as my current superior approved to hiring 2 juniors for me and we had this whole business plan all drawn-up and geared towards for the year.

And then came the new big boss No.1

Innitially he was really friendly and hardworking. I thought. Wow.....what a dynamic new boss. Really good.
And then........after a couple of weeks around, things changed.
My 2 juniors never came.
Hiring was frozen.
Business plan scratched.
And today.......I really dont know what am I suppose to sell anymore. The direction is sooooo unclear it makes me feel crappy.

I hate it when new cow come in and act like they know so much when talking to those who's been through thick n thin with the company.
Especially some of our seniors............1 by 1 left..... because they couldnt take it anymore. Immagine being with the company for 10over years and then some guy for 1 month and trying to tell u off and shoving u around? ya.........very hurtful.

I dunno about them but i'm not resistant to change but I thought that new comers should always take 2 step forward and take a step back, because it doesnt help in people management when you bull-doze your way through.
Many ideas he thought of, we've been there and done that....its just that he may not know the history of the company well enough.

gosh im really sad. Everytime im sad, i just log into my jobstreet account and clicking my way through the job posting........sad case

5 things you didn't know about me

My favourite and most stylish ah moi tagged me this. Cannot escape lah....since its only 5.... I can manage. Here goes......

1. I used to be pretty popular back in schooldays...very much a social butterfly....but i grew tired of being popular i just wanted to be a plain Jane and so i did my best to stay out of ANY activity at all during college years.....yup....even took-up the geekiest course....yes u've guessed IT.

2. I once experienced being wooed by a lesbian. It was kinda scary. Got to know her during a mutual friend's birthday and there-after she started calling me and asking for my pictures and asking me out n stuffs........Finally I had to get the mutual friend to settle the issue and havent heard of her since.

3. I am gaga over Gilmore Girls. I just absolutely ADORE Alexis Bledel....Not the best actress but I just love her.

4. I love cats. But i hate dogs. I miss my last pet. He was a white kitty with blue eyes. I also hate monkeys and I secretly am afraid that they are capable of going amok and act all beastly and rape me or something.........

5. I married my first boyfriend.

Now there...
I've done it.

Takalon Anti-Stress Facial Mask

You can never imagine how stressed my life has become lately..........

some funny restructuring thingy is happening in the office and I am totally totally stressed out i just feel like walking out of there and just quit with immediate effect.......butttttttt im still hanging on......it could be a good thing......it could be worst than is already is.....but i'll give it some time and test the waters before i make any hasty movements. We'll see how it goes..

So due to much stress and heavy workload, i've totally neglected my beauty regime. I've done nothing and applied nothing to my skin for such a long time I'm begining to feel sorry for my poor skin. So far i've only manage to cleanse my face and i go straight to bed without doing any toning nor moisturizing......and i think the effect is kicking in.

Thus, I've decided that since it is sunday today, i should give my face a much needed treatment and I chose my favourite clay mask from Takalon.
I really love this mask for the fact that it is an Anti-stress mask. Very relaxing indeed.
Secondly, this one which is Honey/Almond smells very nice, pleasant and soothing.
I usually buy mine from the local Watson's pharmacy. I reckond you can find them at guardian too.
Its priced at around RM5-6 per pack and usage wise, it can normally last me twice. After washing them off, you'd feel that your skin is very relax, smooth to touch and soft fragrance tingling.....ahh.........it feels soooo niceeee.....

sigh....the weekend has ended
its monday again..............how can i rid of my intense dislike for monday??
Have a good week ahead!

Out,

Blue Eyed Monday

haha....I took this shot with my free Qtone lenses sometime ago. Its blue. I forgot to upload this pic during my review, it wasnt a good shot anyway, the color did not stand out as much because the pic was taken using my camera phone at night... Anyway, ignore the unkept eyebrow. The lenses sure does make my pupil look larger than usual doesnt it? I'm thinking to try those from Acuvue dailies I've seen on advertisement.......but i dont think so id like the price though. Anyway.........here's something blue for the monday bluesss........

Jurlique Rose Hand Cream

I guess that when you grow-up, you receive lesser and lesser christmas presents by the year....and unless you start giving out more pressies so that you'd get some reciprocal -obligatory return gifts......(which to me has no meaning at all....so why bother).....you'd be receving none other than those gift exchange from the office...

This year the amount of gifts i received is practically coming to a diminishing state.......its kinda depressing......come-on la.....after getting married already means no more gift for me izzit??? or...izzit!!
But this year i received something special that lifted my spirits and made me feel really special from a dear blogger galpal Jemima!! Wow, she sure is a gem.......she bought me my christmas present all the way from australia!! and its Jurlique! Australia's own brand too!! The tube is actually a hand cream with light fragrance of roses. The cream is quite thick so I need not squeeze alot for application. The hand cream is non greasy too so I dont feel uneasy after application. The best thing about it is apart from the hands, it is good for the cuticles too! I've read good reviews about this product before and now I finally own one too!! I'm so happy!!! Apparently it works great for those with dry skin....and so far i've tried it and It made my skin felt really soothing and moist. I love the delicate scent it leaves on my skin too.
Thanks Jemima!!

ps. yours will arrive 2morrow. :> Finally got it cauriered over today. Sorry for the delay......hope you like it!

2007

Hi you wonderful people!!!
I feel great this first day of 2007.
Manage to catch a glimps of the fireworks lastnight. It was just behind my backyard so I dont have to go anywhere but stay home and waited for the fireworks display. 2 of them was going on simultaneously. There is the one from TheCurve who started blasting off first even before the clock strikes 12...........and then followed by the one at 1Utama. I must say I like the one from TheCurve more. It was prettier and it lasted longer too.

Although 2007 is just a day away from 2006, I feel good. I wanted to get rid of 2006 for the longest time ever....it wasnt pleasant. 2007 to me is full of hope and I desire to make it happen. I've never been so excited over a new year this way before. Oh welp.....another step closer to the BIG 30. gulp......hopefully I'd be alot wiser too.

Before I go off, here's my tunic new dresses I bought from Ikano.
Apart from that, I stopped over at Giordano warehouse sale yesterday. It was the last day. Me n hubby bought these loot. Set me back by about RM311. Teehee.....It was worth it because I bought like 5 pants!! for the price of 1. Seriously, the pants were retailing for about RM119 and it was selling at RM29 only!! To think that I almost bought a pants from U2 at RM169. Here I bought 5 for RM150!!!!! I was very satisfied with my loot. Very. Even hubby bought 3 pair or pants and quite a number of t-shirts that was going for RM10 per piece.
