JDrama: Long Vacation

Was asking my fellow nihon-go classmate which jap drama is worth a watch as I would like to improve on the language by watching more japanese shows.

So...."long Vacation" was recommended as the mother of all japanese drama. Pretty apt for me since I am in a way having a long "yasumi".... hehe......





Just finished the last episode last night....and i must say that for a 10 yr old show (1996) Its a damn good one!!!

I love the lead actress Minami (tomoko)!!! She was just so hilarious and acted like a tomboy although she have the look of a goddess......her acting was superb....ichi ban!!
The leading actor Sena (Takuya Kimura) totally shot to fame after this show....i still remember the craze about him during my teens.....

Wow...i was looking for images to put in this blog and found out that this show had won so many awards during the 1996 Television drama academy awards!!! Best drama, best actor, best actress best so many thingsssss!!!

St Ives Clay Firming Mask

Sometime ago I reviewed St Ives Hydroxy "Peel-off" mask......though I hate the sticky feeling, i must say that i love the mask. However, i'm more of a "clay" person as i often prefer clay mask than the peel-off type. So recently when i was in guardian pharmacy i saw this mask near the counter going at some discounted price (sorry cant recall how much i bought it for!)

I must tell you, i love it. It doesn't cost a bomb and it can last pretty long. I keep mine inside my mini fridge to give it a tingling cooling sensation while i apply them. This facial mask is made with mineral clay which cleans deep while it firms and tightens the skin. I'm actually having them on while im typing this. :)

Why I hate it?: hmm......none at the moment

Trench Dress

I went over to my ex-company to collect my paycheck yesterday....darn they still owe me my claims and i have to go over again probably end of the month.....
On my way back, i thought of dropping by the morning market to buy some stuffs.....
however, i was too late for the morning market as it was already 11nish.....and the stalls were begining to pack-up...

being me, i can't help but to stroll by the stalls selling clothes and was kinda amazed by the pricetag....it was pretty cheap...stuffs that i would normally pay like RM59 at boutiques....i'm surprised that i can find similar items here at RM20....

Soo....i went back with 2 items at RM20 each!
1. a green cardigan
2. a RED Trench Dress!!



It looks exactly like this one.....only RM20!! my goodness....i would've paid RM100 if i ought to buy them at the boutiques......the only thing is that the belt seems to be missing and i have to buy my own belt.....:P Anyhow i still think it is a good buy. Love it!

Free but not too free....

im here to whine about being jobless and broke and busy again.....how predictable? eh?? hehe
Well.......though jobless im still busy.....u forgot i dont have a maid don't you?
and....i recently had a flat tyre!!.....been driving on the spare.....i need to take the old jalopy to change tyres
Then......my road tax is due soon which I have to go n renew. Sigh......oh no not again......$$$$$$
I also have a parcel to pick.......
ok i think i need to go plant some money trees....

oh and do my japanese homework too....

Just that the crappy ppl is holding my paycheck....

sometimes i think i am too responsible and think for others too much......but other ppl just think about their own benefit.......

well......time to be carefree.......
im gonna download some anime now and practice my Nihon-go!

Freedom at last!! but....perhaps not too long.......just enjoy it while it last la! till the next battle begins.......toodles...
