My New Year Resolution 2007

Wow.....This year did not started off very well for me but it ended somewhat to my advantage.
I must say that 2006 wasn't great, but it was good. I look at it as a picking-up point for me in my career. So much has happened within the year that got me very very confused, but I'm putting things together now. I am truely happy that the year is coming to a closure as I see 2007 as a much better year for me. Looking forward to start anew and afresh.
I wish all of you the same and a good year ahead!

The conclude this year, I'd like to make a new year resolution to set some goals to achieve for the coming year:

• Get rid of the lazy bug and procrastinator in me
• Grow my hair as long as it used to be (3 inches more!! yey!)
  
• Be more dynamic and enthusiastic in my work....seem to have lost that over the years
• Learn Golf (anybody wanna teach me?)
• Lose 5kg
• Have a baby :>
  
• erm.......thats all for now. I think my goals are quite realistic and achievable.

Christmas was great....how was yours?

I enjoyed my christmas this year. I love it the way it was yesterday.
I totally whipped up a meal enough to feed an army.....we had lamb, chicken, big @ss prawns, cod, salad............all cooked to perfection. yummmmm.........

....it was a small affair with my family and his. Just the way I like it.....small crowd and good company.
Christmas had always been my favourite season. I love christmas jinggles and I love the peace the season brings.
So how was your christmas? Hope you enjoyed it as much as I do.

A dress or two

Decided to go Ikano today after work for some last minute Christmas shopping......
shame on me, my Sunday shopping did not go on well as i only manage to buy something for 1 individual! ya......it sucks....I hate last minute shopping too.....

So......how did my shopping go for the day? hmm.....good and bad.
good....because I bought my christmas outfit...
bad.....because I did not manage to get a single gift......bummer....
I already have plan B though, If last minute I still cant find anything suitable, Id be heading to The Cocoa Tree for chocolates....hehe....

Bought a dress and a baby doll top together with matching skinny pants....
then I bought another dress at another shop. Total damange approx RM200.
Wasnt happy that the Japanese like jacket I spotted at 1 of the shops going for only RM59.90 couple weeks ago was no-longer there!......I guess it was too kawaii and was snapped up fast.
I would have bought a shoe or two if it wasnt because they were out of my size. I saw a gorgeous golden sandal...and a perfect brown sandals to match my christmas dress.....but the only sizes available were size 9 and size 4!!!

Only 5 more days to christmas!! That is really fast.....
but somehow this year....I dont really feel that christmassy...

I need to start my christmas shopping soon.........

Oh deary me, Christmas is only a week away!!!
That means its only 2 more week to go till 2007.
Which reminds me, I haven't done any christmas shopping yet. Probably will go shopping tonight....worst come to worst everybody gets chocolates this year. heh.......blame it on the lazy bug. :>

Part Deux: Pos Malaysia Sux (continue from previous post)

"oh yes wait-a-minute mister postman...wai-ai-ai-aiittt mister postman..."

ah.....this song keeps coming to mind whenever I think about my snailmail woos....
oh yes, apparently the story doesn't end at my complaint.

Today the post office manager I suppose, gave me a call and had a pretty long chat with me...
he added much to my already stressful mind.
After a long talk, his intention is to make me retract back my complaint.
Yes, "Tarik Balik" is the word he used.
I was like........wat the duck man.......... I did not make any mistake why should I retract my complaint?? Can't you just close the case as long as the postman promises to deliver my mails to me?
Nooooooooooo........apparently, Pos Malaysia doesnt work this way (so according to him la). If I do not "tarik balik" my complaint, Mr.Manager will have to give an explaination to the KL HQ. Then usually the Mr.Postman will kena. And I asked him what is the consequences. Well, Mr.Postman may get some penalty like getting lesser bonus or incentives something like a pay cut.

Now, my heart is very the soft like my boobs like that........oh no much softer actually .....even my boobs are firmer than my heart........ Ok I've digress......cut back to the story........I tak sampai hati to see ppl with already small pay get a paycut loh......it was never my intention to kenakan Mr.Postman, i just want them to be more careful the next time. But If i dont want him to kena, I have to write a letter retracting my complaint. But I dont want to do that because it will look as if i am in the wrong!!!!! If I dont retract, Mr.Postman will kena!!

Aiyohh!!! Headache wei I tell you!!!
I dont know what to do.
1. I lodge a legitimate complaint
2. I did no wrong, why should I retract my complaint
3. I am ok to close the case as long as Mr.Postman be more careful next time. But this cannot do.
4. I can only have 2 choice. a. Retract my complaint b.carry on and Mr.Postman kena paycut
5. I dont want Mr.Postman to get paycut because I have no idea what is Mr.Postman background.
6. Mr.Postman KNOWS WHERE I LIVE.
7. Mr.Postman KNOWS ALL THE NAMES AND MEMBERS OF MY FAMILY IN THE HOUSE
8. Mr.Postman CAN GET UPSET and DO NASTY THINGS for all I know = DANGEROUS
9. looks like I have no choice but to retract my complaint isnt it?
10. hmmm......what to do??? I have till monday to decide. I think I'm going to call HQ direct and make POS Malaysia deal with this issue properly instead of brutal ways like this.

I've always liked the Mr.Postman song until today. ME DONT LIKEY THE SONG NOMORE. :(

Anybody knows any solution?

Am I making a big fuss?

I've had it with my missing mails!!!!

And so I called Pos Malaysia customer service to make a complaint.
Actually, it wasnt a real complaint, I just wanted to get to the bottom of it.......you know, i never ruled out possibilities of perhaps the sender writing the wrong address and all that....
But I just had enough of this nonsense...Common, Ive just moved here like for a year and how many physical mails would I have lah?? Like.....1 in a few months??? hey i'm a techie, I email gazillians of email per day. Pos is only for cheques or membership cards, magazines and stuffs like that.

So, the first time i realized my mail gone astray was when I did not receive my first Google cheque. Therefore after like a couple of months waiting, I had to contact google and get them to cancel the cheque and post another one.

Fine, that was the first time.

Then second time when I was "persuaded" to join membership for 1 of the butique and my card was supposed to be posted to me but I did not receive it. Then the girl from the shop called me telling me that my card have been returned to sender. Kononnya I "Telah Pindah" and so I had to go to the shop to physically collect it.

Hmmmmmmmm!! Now that was really weird. 1 cheque gone missing. 1 returned to sender.

So nevermind, I was still patient, untill last week when my good advertiser contacted me to inform me that my cheque that was physically mailed to me have been returned to sender with the reason that I have moved!!! "Telah Pindah!" again?!??!?!!

Now I already beh song cannot tahan already. How come so inconvenient and it has to be important mails that never reaches me? So I lodge the report yesterday.

Today the posman came to my house and talked to my in-laws asking lotsa questions, and begging them to tell me Not to complain to the company because he will kena. He sounded like he is in big trouble like that.
Seriously, I did not know that my complaint will jeopardize his work because that was never my intention. I just want to know why are they saying that I have moved for 3 times!!! I mean, that can't be coincidental or accidental right......

All I want is my mails to reach me. Is that too much to ask for?? Now the posman is making me feel guilty for putting his work at stake. I never ment for that to happen. I just hope I'm not making a big fuss.

haha....I think they're really cute. Although a little obscene but cute. Seems the snow babes have a spot for Horny the snowman to put his carrot. I dont know whats with the carrot in between the snowbabes boobs??!!

These Pornaments are selling like hot cakes and are totally sold out! Even the ginger bread men ones.

Qtones Colored Contact Lense

Last week when I came home from work, I saw a poslaju for me. And as I opened it up, it was a pair of colored contacts from Qtones!

If you look at my top banner, I have an ad for Qtones. I really like the banner as the color blends well with the color of my banner. :> It is a paid ad albeit a small amount but hey, a little goes a long way.....besides.....pocket money is always good.

As they are my advertiser, I was offered a sample contact lense in turn for a review. Fair enough.
I like the idea of more colored contact brands to choose from instead of just FreshKon and FreshLook who seems to be dominating the current market. I think FreshKon is still no.1 here in Malaysia.

Qtones colored lenses is from Korea, as oppose to Freshkon and Freshlook who is frm the western countries (US,I think). I suppose, Qtones being from Asia understands Asian requirements better.

I will not be bias, my review will be based on my personal opinion.

Firstly, the packaging.
As i recieved mine from the mailbox, the box was a little squashed. However, they do have a uniquely designed packaging. Although I thought it can look better and more professional.

As I open up, I have a pair of colored lenses in BLUE.














(Yes I requested for BLUE as Ive decided to be more adventurous). On top of that, there is a piece of paper with valueble information that teaches you how to handle your lenses, especially for first time users these are great information, Kudos to that as I think those are great information. But, personally I suggest that if it is your first time using contact lense you should ask the optimetrist to teach you how to handle them and how to place them correctly into your eyes. After that, its practice practice practice!








Soooooo.... I have a comparison of my current FreshKon in hazel(right) and the Qtones in Blue(left) here.














As you can see Qtones color is alot bolder and sharper where else FreskKon colors are lighter.
Qtones have a larger diameter of the color and a more define and bold black border lines. This I was told is able to make your eyes look bigger.
If you are shy to show colors and want something less noticible then FreshKon is a great choice as the colors seem more natural to me.
Qtones color is more similar to that of FreshLook that will give you bolder, brighter and noticeable colors.
Currently, Qtones only offers 5 colors to choose from, which is Grey, Brown, Blue, Green and Violet.

The Good:
The special feature about Qtones Colored lenses is that the colors are set within the lenses. This means that you do not have to fear that the colors will fade or chip-off and goes into your eyes as many will definately be worried of. The colors are also bolder and brighter. And thirdly the diameter of the color is of a larger circumference thus making your eyes look bigger. Lastly, the price may be a little steeper but they last up to 3 months. After putting them on, I thought the lenses were quite comfortable.

The Bad:
The packaging can be improved to make it look more branded as currently I find that they look a little lack in class.
It retails at USD26.60(approx RM100) (www.qtones.com.my). I thought it is a little pricey but then the shipping is FREE, and I cant quite compare them to FreshKon (RM60) because FreshKon is a 1 month disposable but Qtones lasts up to 3 months.
I cant seem to find them at the retail outlets yet.

Drawing Nigh

I was sick again on Saturday! can you believe that, its like a jinx, I get sick every month! and I have to get sick DURING the weekend each time! I blame it on the weather though.

I was totally down shivering hots and colds and sweating all over....
This time, hubby totally touched my heart bless this men.
He was totally taking care of me the whole night while i sleep and moan.....
he gave me medicine,
he make sure i drink enough water,
he help me change,
middle of the night when i'm all sweaty again he wipe my sweat and help me change again!!
OMG!!!! only MY MOM would ever do that for me when i'm sick!
