Victoria Secret & MNG Warehouse Sale

I woke up pretty early today thus decided to go to this warehouse sale because I really like victoria secrets lingerie and would like to get some at 90% discount. hehe..cheapskate me.

When I entered the location at Milwanis, I was quite impressed at the amount of clothes they have and how organized the place was. However, I was rather disappointed later when browsing through the heaps of clothes.
Most of them are MNG's. But I wasn't sure if they are 100% new. Though the advertisement states that they're genuine parallel imports, I was appelled at the disgusting state of some of the blouses. Most of them were crumpled, old, and not to mention dirty too.

However, i did like the selection of bra's they have there. I wasn't sure if they are ALL Victoria Secrets. But i didn't have much choices for my size. But if you're 32A, then they have plenty of lovely bra's.

In the end i bought 4 bra's (buy 3 get 1 Free) at RM19.90 each. I was quite happy with them.
I also bought 1 MNG blouse at RM29.90. But when i showed them to hubby, he was very much appelled by the state of the blouse, all crumpled and dirty rag like.... :P
well, that was the ONLY blouse that I like. Seriously i could get something much better elsewhere with RM29.90 loh!!!
I dump it into the pail just now to give it a wash and was disgusted at how dirty the water become. Yucks....i wonder if these MNG clothes were "victims" of the recent flood or what.....

Oh......I was VERY VERY disappointed that there were NO assessories at all today!!! Suppose to have some MNG bags and shoes but i didn't see any.

Wanted to buy CK boxers for hubby but they only have Size S and M!!!!

Common!! Its only the second day of the sales and i'm here EARLY like 10something a.m.

Needless to say, i was quite dissappointed to go all the way to KL!! (Komplex Antarabangsa) and paid RM4 for parking for shitty looking clothes ........i mean if they were RM10 still ok la....but no loh!!
The pants and skirts were pretty decent though. But at RM29.90 and RM49.90 ............nehhhh.....

All in all....I wasn't very impressed.

I realize they have the same sales couple of time per-year. If I ever come again, it would most probably be to buy their bra's and not for the clothes.

I prefer to spend good money on Giordano warehouse sales. Which is by far the most genuine i've found.

Serendipity

I have been bothered.
Bothered by something I do not know would somehow have effect on me still.

See, although I married my first "boyfriend". Before him, there were "some" guys that I "almost" thought were my soulmate. And, there is this particular guy just before the hubby. Lets just call him Mr.X(as in the "almost" Ex-bf.....haha)

I said "almost" because I would have ended up being with him if he hadn't gone so far away for a good 4 years for his degree and subsequently masters. With the distance, we sort of drifted apart even before we manage to start. Although he did ask me if i would wait for him.....well, thats something that I didn't have an answer to. Long-distance-relationship is HARD. REALLY HARD when you don't have the $$$$ and even harder when you're still young and naive, even the more a great challenge when you are still in the stage of "maybe".....it would be easier if you're already going steady. We weren't. I admit it broke my heart when he decided to go. I secretly wished that he would stay back but being a GOOD FRIEND that I was, I still encouraged him to persue his studies.

Fastforward, not going to the details of the drama's when I actually got steady with the hubby.
He did still ask me if i'm sure of my decision, i assured him hubby is THE ONE.
Though there was resistance, he wished me well.

Before I tied the knot.
Mr.X once visited me. And one time when we met online on MSN, he told me about this movie called
"Serendipity" and that i should watched it, knowing that i love romantic movies.
Till today I haven't manage to find the movie.
But just yesterday I heard that Mr.X is getting married this year.
I felt a knot on my throat.
I really don't know why I'm feeling this way.
I can't say that I'm sad because I am not.
But i really don't know what is this feeling called. It is a very foreign feeling I have inside of me.
So i was reminded of the show "Serendipity".
So I googled, and read the story review.
Its such a lovely movie.....

Serendipity is such a lovely word....

Today is the 3rd day of Chinese New Year.
Finally have a chance to breathe........but sadly I'm going back to work 2morrow already!
This year's CNY is kinda like a double joy for me as my only sibling had got married.
I felt my parents became 10yrs younger instantly!!!! haha.....i guess the big burden have been lifted after getting rid of us. :> Well, time for 2nd honeymoon now you two.

I really didn't have much opportunity to shop for clothes this round. But i did drop by little.black.book and got myself a pleated skirt, a babydoll top, a brown top and a brown sandals with gold seams. I am sorta into earthy tones lately.
I actually parked illegally infront of the shop bcos there was no way i can find any place to park there!!! I didn't even try on the clothes that i bought. Turn out that the babydoll top was slightly tight at the bust area. :P

One thing i wasnt quite satisfied was there wasn't any sales going so i bought thoes stuffs at face value. Which kinda sucks....i never buy ANYTHING without discounts. hehe.....but at least the babydoll top was value buy item.

OKie.......Thats some brief update for you.

Neh........not me...everything is going on as usual.......noneed to spend stupid money due to marketing hype........
Have been really busy with delivering mandrin oranges to customers.....
Also,usually hubby n I will go on some sort of holiday during CNY but not this year...we were toooooo busy to think of anywhere to go!! Perhaps we'd just stay home and laze around.

Oh btw, i got myself the PUPA lipgloss!!!
Its awesome!!!!


Haven't the time to take a picture......will do when I can and perhaps do a review too.


Btw, Have you read the news paper today?? Another Korean Actress found dead! yikes..thats scary isnt it? why so many Korean actresses suicide cases lately ya? Such a mystery to me.....I also thought that the death of Anna Nicole Smith was very shocking.......I mean, she just inherited like a fortune from his late husband!!!! plus, she was pregnant and what more at the age of 39 ......

Okay, just some ramblings and update.
I'd probably be blogging more during the CNY holidays.

Shocking Pinks!!

I wanted to get a lipstick in shocking pink. I saw Tigi in a magazine and i thought yes! Thats the one i want! Tigi Bedhead Girls Just Want It Lipstick in the color "Fun".

So I head over to Sasa, my regular beauty shop to get them. But to my dismay there were only 2 tubes left. 1 was spoilt. The other was fine, but it looked OLD. I was very dissappointed. I just wouldn't pay RM61.90 for a crappy lipstick. The casing was too plasticky cheapskatey....The texture of the lipstick was crap like the quality of those under RM10. Eww.... So.....I politely say no thanks to the salesgirl and walked away.

Then she asked me if i'd like to try PUPA instead. Frankly speaking, i've haven't heard of PUPA before except at Sasa so i was abit skeptical. But I took a look at the same color that of the TIGI -Fun. And it looked wayyyyyyyy much nicer. And its made in ITALY!!! wow.....what totally blew me over was the overall packaging. They have a unique casing that has a hidden mirror at the cover!!!! Wayyyyyyy cool. And.....bonus is....it only cost me RM49.50!! a good RM12.40 cheaper than Tigi!!

I'm very pleased with PUPA, the texture of the lipstick is good too. And i love the lipglosses too!! I already have my eyes on one that i anticipate to buy at my next visit. :>
