Liquid Liner

I know I have recommended this before in the past...
but Ms.Nyonyapenang asked me twice the same question already....first time can ignore lah hehehe.... but second time liao....so she must really be looking for a good liquid liner

Seriously women, You don't use mascara but you use liquid liner?!! aiyooo!! Liquid liner is the MOST difficult make-up item to master you know!!! I gave up using liquid liner....I much prefer using pencil liners especially making sure it is not too sharp so that I get a good bold line and dubb and spread them over wider... thats how i usually do my liners. Because I totally FAIL putting on liquid liner. So difficult to make them even and equal for both eyes.

But if you must, which liquid liner do i recommend??

The one from Thebodyshop. Absolutely.

Why? Simple. The tip is hard so it helps define the line better. Secondly, there are 2 colors to choose from. Black and Dark brown. Both are equally good as the color is deep and dark. Lastly, it is not too cheap and not too expensive either. I've tried the cheap ones frm sasa and well.....cant quite compare to the one from bodyshop. For higher-end brands I guess I really don't know because I really think they're overpriced.... unless i find out the justification of the price one day i'd let you gals know ok.

*Fashionasia winks at Nyonyapenang* Now go get it. :)

Yup agreed! Liquid eyeliner is the most killer make-up application k!

Be sure to have at least 10 min to spare when applying liquid eyeliner because there's the drawing out of line, smudges, etc

:P

Yes, stick to pencil good enuf la, hehe

i used MAC liner cuz the tip is harder (compare to small liner brush other brand is using) so that i can get a firmer touch. (i'm a blardee klutz when com to liner)

AFter lining , i quickly use a liner brush to even up (play cheat) before it totally dries up, then i used a pencil again to get more smokey and define liner......

MAC makeup artist taught me how to put liner in inner eye.... the part underneath/below lashes to make your eye bigger.....have u guys tried it?
how bout white pencil before liner? have you guys tried it too?

Chup, Irene : Underneath/below lashes of the upper lid is it?

The white liner, it's good when your eyes look tired.

i thought u consider it as lower lid? kekeke...
below the eyelashes.....its like the inner lid...

eh i never used white liner before....
only blue, black and brown...my common colors.

one tip...always do thick lines on upper-lid
For lower lid, should minimize it...only draw about slightly more than half across the eye frm out inwards.

Actually, white liners are great for making the eyes look a bit bigger. ZA does one pretty cheap one. I do it on the inner corners of my eye in a little "v" shape. The corner where the top meets the bottom. :)

As for liners, i LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE bobbi brown's long-wearing gel eyeliner. of course it costs me a arm and a leg and probably my first born too (had to buy the tub of eyeliner and the brush) but it's really good. I find for pencils, it tends to drag on the eye area a bit, so i don't quite like it.

With the gel liner and brush, i can choose to do a thick line or a thin line. And, the bobbi brown one is easy to manage. I got the hang of it after a week of practising. just make sure you swipe on LOTS before you draw the line.

I'm still a dungu trying to do my bottom lashes. so, FORGET IT :)
