Sharapova, Not just another pretty face!

Maria Sharapova (RUS)[3] defeated Justine Henin-Hardenne (BEL)[2] 6-4, 6-4 in the 2006 US Open Women's Singles Final.

I have no idea she is THAT tall!! 6 foot 2!!! oh wow!!

"She is the highest-earning female athlete in the world, with an estimated $20 million a year in endorsements alone. But she deflected the importance of all that, and the satisfaction of her success on court."

Lets talk a little about tennis fashion while we are at it.

Now tell me this isnt the prettiest little black dress.... I particularly like the sequinned neckline. I must admit that I love tennis......one of the reason is because tennis apparels are really fashionably trendy!! And its getting better by the day...

Did u see Bethenie Mattek in these??? looks really uncomfy...i doubt that those are tennis apparels....looks like something i can get frm the street market.....well, at least we getto see something different....

And......it so happen that i was looking at these from Adidas and I think that they are really pretty....makes me feel like getting some tennis wear.......
These are Stella McCartney's collection.......

Apart from the above, i saw this frm the sales section....
I like..........but kinda look like something I wore yesterday

I love Maria's little black dress, too. Besides the sequinned bit, I love the subtle open back, too. *After all, black is my fave colour. ;)*

I'm so glad that Nike has finally come out with the perfect outfit for her. :p

Howdy asianfashionista,
I remember Wimbledon back in the 70s when Chris Evert caused a buzz with her puffy lace-frilled panty that revealed her more than ample posterior (the tennis dress was merely incidental!). Tennis fashion, of course, has come a long way since than. Never mind her serve, but Anna Kournikova in full flow was quite a sight to behold (and I'm not talking about her tennis). But I really admire Serena Williams' tennis dress designer - how on earth could he come up with something that could hold up her 38DDs - especially when she is serving?? :))

PS/- Thanks for the b'day wish.
