Fashionasia would like to bid farewell to our very own First Lady Datin Seri Endon Mahmood, wife of our beloved Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
"Datin Seri Endon Mahmood passed away on Thursday morning after a nearly four-year battle with breast cancer. She was 64. Members of the public can pay their last respects at Seri Perdana between 11am and 4pm."

Datin Seri Endon was actively involved in our local fashion industry especially in promoting batik internationally. She is an important figure in the local fashion scene. I guess this year's MIFA(Malaysian-International Fashion Awards 2005) gala in November is going to be rather quiet without her gracing the event.
Our condolenses to Pak Lah and family.
PS: Like i've mentioned before in my previous posts. This month is Breast Cancer awareness month. I would like to take this opportunity to urge you again to please support breast cancer research. Buy some pink stuffs this month......browse through some websites that pledge to donate and buy some stuffs. This will contribute to the research for cure for breast cancer.

Such beautifully written poem...feels sad just even thinking about the funeral yesterday...makes us all wana cling on more to those whom we cherish.
