I think im gonna do it....

Its been bugging me....about quitting n all.....
cant even sleep well last nite.....was tossing n turning.....
its only 5pm and i'm home already....came back straight after my appointment...
Really, I fear to go back to the office....fearing of added task.....fearing of impromptu meetings....
fear of the ridiculous tongue lashings and longgggggggg winded lectures......

Coincidentally, I think Caroline on liteFM must have read my blog! haha....This morning on the way to work, she was discussing about the topic of her friend who is in a dilemma pretty much like mine...."should she quit the job with good pay but stressful and settle for a lesser paying one with less stress n doing something you really like?" decisions....decisions....

Since its already 20th.....Perhaps it'll be good to drop the bombshell next week to the boss??
Shall i do it monday ......or wait till end of the week?

Hi FA, if you can live by without that extra money, you should just follow your heart (which I think is now urging you ever so strongly to go for it!). Good luck and be brave! :)

Ps. next time must say hi to me ok! ;)

Just go ahead & do it. I support you because I've been in that situation before. Be happy. Now that you've made up your mind, relax already lah. :)

You are not alone Fashionasia, I been thru the same situations which I keep thinking whether I should quit or not since I am so unhappy at the workplace.Too much politics!
Tossing and turning in bed thinking about whether should leave or stay and worried might not get another good jobs. Anyway my piece of advice is if you have made up your mind then juz follow your heart and if you are afraid, just look for another job first and then only resign.
In that way you won't feel insecure because another jobs beckons and like you say you are on probations, so resigning in 24 hours is OK.
Since you already decided lesser pay but less work burden, then don't think so much anymore and shift to the other jobs without hesitating.

Yeah, I understand the feeling one, from frying pan into the fire coz thats the job-switcher nightmare. Its a freak'n scary transitions world.
When I first started at another job the same fear lingers. Anyway thats the risk with everything.
