Nivea Caregloss and Shine

I havent been buying any cosmetics. But recently i've been experiencing chapped lips.....and it got pretty bad. I've been using my skinfood lipbalm as well as palmers cocoa butter but it doesn't seem to be working.
I had a vaseline that was really good but i just couldn't find it! had no idea where i chucked it.
So the other day, i dropped by Guardian pharmacy to look for a new tube of Vaselline. However, the Nivea lipcare sort of caught my attention.

I was choosing between the two available colors and finally decided on this one. Its basically neutral in color, well maybe a tint of shine. And it smells very nice!! Fruitty. I think it smells like mango.
Upon my first application, i fell in love with it instantly! The texture was just nice, not too sticky nor too diluted. It moistures my lips and lasts quite long until my next application.
I've only been using it for two days and my chapped lips have improved so much already!! And it is not very expensive selling at RM12.90. Perhaps its cost a little more compared to lipice and some others that cost below RM10. But I'm really impressed and thinking of trying the other color in red. :)

Complaining Frenzy

While i'm at it (complaining i mean), i might as well get this off of my chest too.

As of today, Crude oil price dropped to USD92.38 per barrel.

eh.....hello??!!!! Government?? Are you there??

When oil price go up....... your reaction so fast..... you also want to tax the people. And now the people are suffering because when you up the oil price by 40%. EVERYTHING also up especially FOOD. Now oil price go down. You and your PETRONAS making tonnes of money. The People still suffering wor.......

Whatever happened to reviewing oil price every 15 days? What happened to that someone who promised to reduce back the price??

yoooohooo?? anybody home???

New autogate

Well, recently we have installed a new gate and the auto gate system.
I'm happy with this upgrade because we don't have to get in and out of the car to open/lock the gate anymore. Less 1 padlock to maintain. Hehe...

We got the Jackpro auto gate arm system. As my SIL knows the supplier, we got the quote and have it installed by them instead of getting from the resellers. Which is slightly cheaper.

Though i'm happy with the gate, i am very pissed with the people at the local Jackpro. Gosh the workers are rude!!! Not only rude, they are sooo arrogant..... can't be told......act like we owe him money likethat. Ishhh......menyampah okay!! The face also never smile, blackblack all the time. What kind of customer service is this??!!

Then recently 1 out of the 3 remote control just refused to work. Since its only been a couple of months, it should still be under warranty right? Then we ask them to come n fix it lah......
wah....mana tau yesterday when they come..........They refuse to fix it unless we buy another remote wor!!!!! arghh......so unreasonable ok! But luckily we intended to buy 1 extra so they got it fix. But still with the black face and rude attitude. blueeh.......

I think the management should send them to some classes in relations to customer service. Whatever happen to service with a smile?!

I sayang you later...

Well, my mom tells me that i should stay happy when i'm pregnant as a happy mummy makes a happy baby.

2 days ago the hubby was downstairs doing some work on his laptop, while i was upstairs in the room. Also on my laptop.
It was getting late and I was ready to go to bed so i MSN the hubby telling him im going to sleep already.

He was his busy self as usual. But his replied really made my day.

Me: Hubby sleep sleep.
Him: ok...you go sleep first. I sayang you later.
Me: ok.....sayang baby also...
Him: ok

hehe....that made my day. He can be really sweet sometimes without consciously putting an effort. Which is why i love him dearly. And he did remember to sayang me and baby when he finally came to bed. :)

Such little actions makes me feel so blessed and truely happy. I'm sure baby knows daddy loves us both.

Glowing Complexion

I know i've been delaying my review about the Skinfood BB cream.
The reason is because I really have been experiencing great skin!!
But the problem is i couldnt pinpoint the reason.
It could be 1 of the 3 reasons:

1. Skinfood BB cream
2. Pregnancy Hormones
3. Bird nest

So, i wouldn't know if the BBcream actually works. But i'd just jot down some of my findings after using them for about a month or two now.

Ever since i'm pregnant, i try not to use so much make-up. I don't want my body to absorb so much chemicals. But sometimes i just can't go out barefaced. I'd feel all naked. Thus, i try to use a more natural products such as those from TheBodyshop or Skinfood.

Initially when i tried on this BBcream, i didn't quite like it. In fact, i was a little dissappointed what with all the rave about BB creams. But now that i've been using it for awhile, i've grown to like it more. Though i'm still on a lookout for a better BBcream. But for the preggie me! i love it....cos of its natural sources of ingredients.

I'd do my verdict in point form cos its easier.

Dislike:
1. It does have a strong scent.
-But im not particular about scents so im ok with this. It smells quite pleasant. Some people dont like fragrances on face product so it could be repulsive to them.

2. Only 2 tones to choose from.
- I'm not exactly fair so i choose #2. However, it is still a little light and makes me look fairer than my skintone. Id prefer something just a Littleeeee bit darker. I really don't know how others that are darker than i am will be able to use this. But, one trick is to mix them with a darker foundation color. Sometimes i do that.

3. Does not cover as well as bbcream is raved to be.
-BBcream is suppose to cover much better than foundation. However, i find the coverage medium. It does not cover up scars. I still need to apply my elianto concealer to cover up my pimple scars.

Likes:
1. Stays on the whole day
- The bbcream does stay on all day long, it does not melt under the sun or water (unlike some foundations).

2. Healthy for the skin
- It is rich with aloa vera good for hydrating skin. It is SPF 20 so i don't have to put on another layer of sunscreen.

3. Blemish corrector
- Well, this one im partial because im not sure if it is due to BBcream or my pregnancy hormones. But my skin have improved alot lately. I dont have any breakouts at all!! which is very rare for me.

All in all, my first impression when im using this is that it feels alot like tinted sunscreen.
However, i kinda grow to like it better than my regular foundation now mostly because of its natural ingredients. And it does not contain damaging chemicals to my skin.

I would rate it 5/10. But i really wouldn't know untill i've tried other BBcreams.
